I am a 25 year old female, 5,2 198ibs. Not the strongest nor agile. I built this bed by myself in 3 hrs (and thats because I took it easy). I did it with no help.
The bed is sturdy, great for the price. Both me and my husband weigh almost 200ibs and it does NOT feel like it is going to collapse on us lol.
I love the bed, as long as you follow the directions you should be fine, if nothing is broken but something seems wrong then perhaps (key word PERHAPS) you did something wrong.
great value for the money, great quality First, I worked at a furniture store for over 2 years. I assembly and delivered many kids beds of a variety of brands. This platform bed came with all pieces and nothing was missing. The package was well taking care. Assembly was easy took 1 hour to assemble 2 of them. Maybe because I have experience. The Slats are better then you get with most beds. The drawers are standard for the lower end furniture. People complaining about cheap bottoms must put 20lbs pants in them lol. My kids are 9 and 10 and it works well for them. 5 months and holding up great. This same bed from Ashley furniture would be 5 or 6 hundred
I had no trouble rating this a 5 star product. All materials were well made and the instruction booklet was very easy to follow. All hardware was accounted for. Put 80% of this together with a phillips head screwdriver. I have several suggestions to anyone putting this together. Read directions all the way through and follow them. Dont jump ahead. I found it easier to count sort all hardware before starting. Purchase an allen wrench with a handle, By the way I am 70, so if I can put this together without any problems, anyone should be able to do the same. Thanks to the makers and engineers for a well thought out and executed plan.
I like all the storage. Sad that one of the side supports is peeling and a few drawers are scratched.
*After only 6 months one of the sides couldnt take the mattress when more than 1 person sat on it broke off. Id say having a sturdy box spring is a must.

GREAT BED FOR THE PRICE. Very easy to put together, good instructions. Color is as advertised and durable.

For the price...this is a great bed. I was very happy how nicely the drawers work. Con/ putting this together. It is time consuming.
