This is heavy and made well. It was so easy to put together compared to some stuff we have bought. Every piece is clearly marked and instructions easy to follow. It looks great in my kitchen. Very happy with my purchase.
We took out an island that had come with the house, and unfortunately that left a square of old linoleum that needed to be covered up. The dimensions that we saw on for this island should have mostly covered it with just an inch or two where the indents are at the base of the cabinet. Unfortunately we had a two inch gap all the way around and had to put in a platform using a different material but it ended up looking good / so, dont count on the dimensions has given. Otherwise it is a beautiful island, just takes time to get it all together.
We ordered this island and received it sooner than expected. Three very heavy boxes. Unfortunately, the Island top had a chunk broken off. Not acceptable for this price. The customer help line initially was not working. But once we got through we reached Nick who was very helpful. He looked up our information and asked what part was defective. He ordered a replacement part which he said would come in 2/4 days. We received it on day 3. No defects in the replacement. Since it was the last part to install, we were able to construct the rest of the island while we waited for the top. One word of caution, the instructions dont say how to make the leaf stay up. Turns out there are two wooden arms that are flush against the back of the island. They swing out and lock in place to hold up the leaf. Took us a while to figure this out as we thought the arms were decorative when flush against the back. Island looks very nice, but since the reviews warn against damaging the top, I ordered custom pads to fit over so the top is protected when doing baking, etc.

We were unable to assemble it because we didnt have levers that were supposed to come with it. The whole thing just cracked
