This is a perfect safe for my small apartment which is not to big. It fits perfectly without being a huge distraction to the layout of of furniture in my living room. Should buy.
Picked up some shotguns to get into skeet/trap/bird hunting and wanted a safe to store them along with my pistols and ammo (2 children at home). Plenty of room for several shotguns/rifles. Pistol compartment will hold a handful of pistols. Overall the safe is very sturdy and the latest digital lock is really nice, fingerprint reader works very well as does entering in a code. I like the silent mode so no one can hear you trying to open the safe (pushing buttons or fingerprint reader). Perfect and Sturdy.
This was everything I expected plus more. The description is on point and even better when you get it. I was able to store my rifles with no issues and the finger print ID for security is a great feature. Perfect.
Good things:
/mounting holes in back and bottom to connect to studs/floor
/light weight enough to move into place (also a not/so/good thing.see below)
/absolutely should deter smash and grab thieves
/nice upper storage box for smaller items, cash, etc
Not/so/good things:
/lighter weight than I thought it would be.wish it was a bit beefier
/wont stop a determined thief with time and a grinder.but honestly not much will.
/interior dimensions were a bit smaller than I thought would be.still meets my needs
/no interior shelving (other than locking box at top). Would have liked to have option to mount shelves.
Overall, good safe/cabinet. I would buy it again, and would recommend to friends.
Mods that I will be making:
/I bought some neodymium (spelling?) magnets that are super/strong
/Ive cut a shelf of scrap plywood.actually 2 shelves
/mount 2/3 magnets on each side, and rest the shelf on the magnets. It aint going anywhere.those things are small but mighty!
/I have some junk indoor/outdoor carpet that Im cutting to glue to each new shelf, AND to the bottom/floor of the safe. That will cushion any.ahem.items that I choose to place in the safe.
All in all, nice unit and perfect for my needs.
(note: Id give it 4.5 stars but thats not an option. Slight downgrade from 5 for the thinness of the material and the lack of shelves.mostly the lack of shelves) It feels great.
The safe is very constructed solidly. I am impressed with the quality of the safe and lock. There is also another locked box inside. There is ample room for rifles and a few handguns in the locked box. I had a question about accessories and emailed them. Within hours, Adam had responded.

Great size for a smaller space and the electronic unlock features are very simple to set up. Price is reasonable and Moutec staff really went out of their way to provide any assistance that I needed. Highly recommended! Decent buy for me.
In a previous review, I gave this product 1 star due to the function of turning off the beep sounds not working. It worked initially but a few days after programing the beep to no sound, the beep sounds returned. I contacted the company and they admitted this had been a problem on a few other units as well. However, a customer service person was great in following up and offered to send me a new safe but also gave me the option of disabling the beep sounds permanently which I opted for. They sent me several short videos showing how to remove the chip that makes the beep from the circuit board. Somewhat of an inconvenience to disassemble things to get to it, but pretty straightforward with the videos to follow along with and I was pleased with the result: the beeping function permanently removed from the safe. The product is otherwise well built and a good value for the money in my estimation. If you dont want the beeping sounds it is solvable. Functional.

Overall great product for the price range. Came well packaged and undamaged. Set up was easy and setting up the biometrics was easier than I thought. Easy to mount , they provide back and bottom holes for mounting .I would buy another as my collection grows. Does its job.

This gun safe is very nice and good in quality. We can easily put 5 rifles or guns. Working well.
