I got this bed frame for my daughter. Her grandmother bought her a small bedframe for the queen mattress we handed down to her when we got out king. The frame was okay but flimsy and always made a ton of noise with just her sitting down on it. Once she saw this bedframe she fell in love with it. She and I spent the better part of one Sunday making it in her room. The finished product is far to big and bulky to move it through any standard doorway so it is something that would have to be assembled where ever you wanted to keep it. The instructions were plenty clear and while the entire project was very time consuming it wasnt difficult or hard to understand. It is confuse us slightly that there were so many extra screws but it appears the company was just trying to ensure you had enough if you lost some as you were building. The footboard has some small holes in the metal frame that appear to be from the way it was designed but it probably wont bother most people. There were no burrs or sharp parts of the metal so it appears to have been manufactured well.
The bars that make up the frame appear to be plenty sturdy enough for her mattress and my 17 year old daughter. I cant speak for how sturdy it would be with two people sleeping in it all the time as the bed is just for her. I can tell you that she has had friends over who hung out on the bed and watched movies and such and we had no issue with it. The bars that make up the canopy cant hold any significant weight but my daughter strung a bunch of fairy lights on them and it looks great. The bars under the bed do start to slant slightly if you try and move the bed around by pushing so I wouldnt recommend that. If you do need to move the bed around you will need someone on each side to lift it to its new location to ensure you dont impact the integrity of the bed.
Overall the bed looks beautiful and worth the amount of time it took to put it together. My daughter loves the bed and it appears it will stand up to many years of use.
My husband and I put this together in about an hour. This bed is great for the price, extremely sturdy. My only complaint is the fact that you can see the screws and one of the metal legs right in the middle, I always seem to stub my toes on putting my daughter to bed. I absolutely would recommend this bed!!
Great item and good material. The last step involving support bars with clips. The clips should be installed one side then rolled onto the other side into each hole creating a snap! sound. Then place mattress onto support bars.
The installation may take a few hours with or without assistance. Be patient it is worth the time invested!

Very lovely bed! The only complaint is that it had a missing part and I had to wait 3 weeks for it. Otherwise my adult daughter and I put it together. It took us a little over an hour. It’s very sturdy and I love it! Being 60 and having a canopy bed is a girlhood dream come true.
We’re fixing up a special bedroom for our granddaughter who visits often - she slept on a twin daybed last time. So next time she’ll find she has a full size canopy bed with netting - just like the movie stars! We like this black iron bed, because it will allow us to make decor changes depending on who is visiting - it can look very industrial and modern - or very “farmish” (which is our decor). Easy to set up, fits a standard full mattress - really fun to work with, and it will give our granddaughter a fun experience. Very sturdy and strong. Fun choice!
This bed exceeded my expectations. I’m an interior designer and had a limited budget to makeover this master bedroom. This bed is gorgeous and competes with the quality of high end beds. It’s sturdy, doesn’t sway at all, was easy to assemble and is absolutely beautiful.
