Always wanted a canopy bed finally decided on this one. I noticed a lot of people complaining the bed is flimsey. The metal is thin but there is enough of it that the bed is not overly flimsey. I think most people who complained had children hanging from the canopy poles or something because i cant see the bed falling apart from normal use.
I had to improvise by using sheer curtains. The bed is sturdy and was easy to assemble. It looks really nice…will ad more pics when I dress the bed with the canopy and the bed set. Great product!
I’ve had this bed for a month now and I love it! My boyfriend and I sleep in this and I was worried about purchasing an unsturdy canopy bed frame but this bed is very durable! No squeaks, set up was fairly easy and feels like a high end bed with the wood finish! Definitely recommend.
So, husband started it alone at 935pm and I jumped in at about 944 bc I didnt want him to do it alone, I figured I had enough energy. Came with SOME spare nuts, bolts, etc. Every piece accounted for. SO EASY A CHILD COULD DO IT! Id say, the most difficult part.....drumroll please...LOOKING at the stickers for the RIGHT PIECE! That is IT! 9 PAGES, 14 STEPS......Ok...I guess for me the hardest part is bending over and grabbing the Allan wrench when I drop it lol! But in all seriousness.....SUPERRRR STURDY! OUR Mattress from Walmart is supported well. It barely shakes when one of us is getting up.
We are both about 5 foot 5 and THE HEIGHT IS...in a word...PERFECT! WE COULDNT BE HAPPIER. I mean, I can only be happier if I can actually find a good quality canopy curtain set that is good deal. Super glad I spent the extra cash on getting what we wanted instead of just what we needed. We deserve it for sure!
My hubby has a few mental disabilities...so when I say this is EASY to put together....if you can imagine the spouse..me..with BPD HELPING...I am pregnant and got cranky half way through. BUT, it was not only fun and rewarding...it was WORTH IT!
I got this for my granddaughter, and she loves it! I helped mom put it together, and yes, it goes much easier with two people. it was not difficult to put together, but there are a lot of pieces to it. you will definitely need a hammer as well. Once we got it together, it was beautiful. the paint is nicely done, the instructions were pretty good as well. the knobs on the top need to go on AFTER you get the top rails on though. that was the only flaw in the instructions that i could see. the bed itself is very sturdy, and i hope that it will last a long time.

Aside from the fact that it didn’t come with instructions, it was super easy to build and I love how it looks, especially for such a great price!
