Assembly was really easy, my husband put it together within 2 hours - I was hesitant because some reviews said the guard rail on the top bunk isnt sturdy...but it is very sturdy - we didnt need to reinforce it at all. So glad I purchased this bunk bed!

The instructions werent very clear so it took me a little bit to figure it out (I was also 38 weeks pregnant trying to put it together). So far it has held up very well but does dent easily.

I would recommend. Purchased for my kids ages 8 and 3. I had MAJOR delays in shipping, was actually lost for awhile in a warehouse midway. However, pulled through and got it shipped via another company. The bed itself is solid and well built but you will want a bunkie board or piece of plywood for the top. I like the ladder, my 3 year old managed it safely. I wish the top rail were a little taller and sturdier, as my older boy was afraid he was going to roll over it and off at first. However, I put a toddler bed rail on the bottom and you could add one on top as well if youre worried. The bed height is like a loft bed. The bottom bed is basically on the floor. My only dislike is that head clearance on the bottom bunk if very short, so there is a possibility for older children and adults to hit their head getting in and out of bed, or even sitting up too far.
Better than I expected! I really like this product. My boyfriend and I put this together in under an hour and my boys loved it! Im five foot and I stand at least 4 inches taller so very close to the ground for those worried about their little ones falling a long distance from the top bunk. I did have to wait the full delivery estimated time. So about 2 weeks. Im happy with the quality of wood and how sturdy it is.
