This piece is perfect! Easily held all of my DVDs (formerly on a 150 DVD stand), as well as my Blu-ray player and 3 game systems and games. It was very time consuming to assemble as other reviews warned, although I did assemble it alone and found no need for another person so that was nice. The price was great for what it turned out to be as well! Very sturdy once I had it together
Beautiful stand. This is a really nice stand. It does mention that it is designed for 55 TV but Im currently using it to hold a 65 Sony LED TV. The legs on the TV are closer to the middle than the edge and that is the only reason it can hold it so do bear that in mind if you also have a 65 TV youre looking to plop on here.
The instructions are pretty idiot-proof. I assembled this thing in about 1 hour or so. The matte finish is super clean and modern and very compact. It does not take a lot of room at all and is fairly light considering its size and capability. Im also using it to hold a Sony STR-DN1050 receiver which JUST about fits in the centre bottom with very minimal ventilation but I knew that risk entering.
The stand is very low without the legs, 19-inches tall which is exactly what I was looking for as the stand we had before this put the TV far too high and would strain our necks to watch. This stand creates the illusion of an even larger TV as it is closer to eye level and the TV takes up all of the space on the stand. You have the option to use the legs if you want to but I like the height that my TV is currently at so I chose not to use them.
My only gripe I have with this stand is that there were some minor scuffs and scratches on the top panel of the stand when it arrived and its not ideal, but I dont eat my dinner off it so Im not going to go out of my way to spend more money to replace a surface I barely look at.
All in all, this is the exact type of stand I was looking for to modernise a living room entertainment centre. If youre limited for space like I was and are looking for something which is well built, looks beautiful and wont break the bank, I cant really say you can do much better because I spent many hours trying to find something to compete with this and could not.
This product was easy to assemble and looks so beautiful with my mounted 55 TV. It has a very contemporary feel to it.It definitely makes my apartment look more appealing
58-year-old female: Assembled by myself in 1 hour and 15 minutes from the time I opened the box to completely finished. I have assembled a lot of items over the years and these instructions were by far the easiest to follow. The only problem I encountered was a smushed touch up pen. It was in a zipped baggie all by itself so no problem. I contacted the manufacturer and received a new one for future use. Goes great with my existing black entertainment center.
This is a great tv/media stand and I looked at a lot. I have a 40 tv and it could hold a larger one. There is room for stereo components or just decorative things. The stand looks really nice and not at all cheap. Worth the few extra $$. So glad I bought it. I did have someone assemble it for me and one caution is to be sure the backing is put on with the black side facing you, not to the outside. It was put on backward and then corrected. It has cutouts to hide the wires and it does. Very happy with this purchase!
The furniture arrived in two boxes. It took me 4 hours to put it together. The instructions are not very clear and intuitive. It doesnt look very sturdy but the overall look and feel is good. I am not planning to put a TV on top of it, I doubt if it can carry that weight. I think for the money, the assembly instructions can be more clear and the quality can be better.
