We ordered this bed for my daughter who was tired of her loft bed. It was easy to assemble and works out great in her room. I love the extra storage in the bed too! Well made. Good price.
Ive had this bed for almost 3 years now, and it has held up well. It was bought for my 5 yr old son who is pretty hyper and has lasted 2 moves (and many re/arranges) with only minor wear. Just recently one of the wood panels that hold up the mattress boards came off. I just had to screw it back on and it was fine. The wood isnt high quality, but if youre looking for an affordable, simple piece it works nicely. Its so pretty
Purchased for my daughter who wanted a platform bed with drawers. First it was not entirely difficult to assemble but it does take an hour or more. They recommend using just man power, no drills which makes the assembly time even longer.
My first problem was getting everything lined up in order to screw them in properly. Once set up the bed looks good but after a couple of weeks of sleeping on it the bed started falling apart. The drawer handles that are attached to the side are very sharp edged so you have to be careful getting on and off. My 10 month old got scratched trying to get on so weve taken them off and just left the bed without handles until we can get them replaced.
You just need a mattress since it looks unusual with both the mattress and box spring.
I do realize we didnt spend that much money for it but still I would have preferred if it had lasted at least a year before falling apart. Save your hard earned money and get something of better value/quality. highly disappointed!!!
I consider this Walmart quality bed. It looks fine but you can tell its not a well crafted bed. You get what you pay for at 200 and I wont pay more. The drawer front panels were slightly curved so the corners would stick out a bit. And the corners were pointy where you can actually scratch yourself if you rubbed your leg against it (i did). It should have been rounded especially since this is a childrens bed. Other than that, it looks decent and has 3 drawers for clothes. Needs improvement in quality.

I bought this bed for my just turned 3 yr old and he LOVES it. Going to bed is no longer a fight. It is well made and sturdy. My husband, my newborn and myself along with my son can sit on the bed together and read bedtime books with ease. Even with all that weight on the bed it has never creaked, wobbled or felt unstable. I also like the fact that I didnt need to buy a boxspring for under the mattress. study and arrived as pictured!

Of the dozens of pieces of furniture Ive assembled this one had one of the easiest instructions to follow, with clear pictures on every step showing you exactly what parts you need. The only problems I saw were that the drawers were a bit tedious to assemble, and the handles are a bit sharp. I found some cheap foam covers at a craft store and now the handles arent an issue. All in all it took about 3 hours to assemble and wasnt too difficult.
If this bed lasts me till her teen years Ill be happy, and I dont see any reason why it wouldnt. Great Buy
This bed is really a sturdy and good bed with such a price, although for the assembly, you need some one else to help you. the manual is pretty straight forward. Very pleased with this purchase
I dont see whats the reason for negative reviews. Good item with somewhat unclear instructions. But if you go through them carefully taking you time, its managable. Make sure to position rough surfaces correctly. This is not specified in the instructions. perfectly fine with it
