    Nice fan

I got this to replace a remote-less, older fan that came with my house. The installation isnt a breeze but ceiling fans hardly are I would recommend at least two people to get this installed. This fan is very modern and sleek looking and would look good in pretty much any space in my opinion. I love the fact that I can use the included remote control to reverse directions, fan speed, and control the lights.

    Defect in sxrew alignment

Everything was fine until the last step w light. The heads of the screws to put the light casing up prevented the light plate from attaching. The holes premade in plate for the srew heads did not align(not even close). So i used lingwr screws and snugged the light plate to the screw heads. Not optimal and the vibration/movement may kill it eventually

    not easy to put together

The blades are hard to put on and the wires arent color-coded properly. The colors are nice and not the same old boring white. it has 5 large blades so it can cool down a large space. The quality is standard but not top tier. dont expect a really well-made product but I like the style and color.

Functional, Well-Made and Stylish Ceiling Fan

We live in the desert, so ceiling fans are an absolute necessity. We have a small rental property that needed a fan, so we ordered the 52 fan, and we were very pleasantly surprised. First, the fan has a wonderfly retro design, reminiscent of propeller blades, that has a conteporary feel. Second, the construction and quality of materials is excellent for the price (the fan blades are solid wood). Third, it puts out an amazing quantity of air. At first, I was worried that because it only has three blades, it might not generate as much wind, but the really pushes air at an impressive velocity, and the shape of the blades really maximizes its coverage. Fourth, it is whisper quiet, which is a result of how well balanced it is. Fifth, the remote is easy to program and very functional (there are 6 speed and reverse). Sixth, the built in light is LED, so no added heat from bulbs, and no need to change bulbs (note that there are three different color temperatures that you can change by turing the light on and off--the coolest color temprature is horrid, but the warmer settings are fine). Since there was no electricity in the ceiling where we mounted it, we needed a contractor to come in and run a junction box to the middle of the ceiling, and he also installed the fan, so I cant speak to the ease of installation, but it took our contractor about an hour to install once the electricity was run. Overall, Im extremley pleased with this fan, and I wouldnt hesitate to purchase another one.

Beautiful and solid and functional addition to our home.

The last room in my home that I needed a ceiling fan was the guest room. Ironically, it is the westerly facing room of the house and can get pretty warm in there. I received this item many weeks back but just had it installed. I am not very handy and so I had to have a handyman do it. Very happy to be reviewing this item. It looks fantastic, probably better than any other ceiling fan in my house. The wood is gorgeous. It is worth noting that I have very expensive ceiling fans in our house made by Big A$$ Fans. As someone who lives in Arizona, I am a bit of a ceiling fan snob and no my stuff. The fan that I am reviewing here in this review is fantastic. Not that large, but really really cools down the room. Again, it looks fantastic. When you walk into the room it has such a quality look about it. I was told by the installer that it was no different than any other ceiling fan that he has done hundreds of times. For what thats worth Remote control works well. You seem to always keep the wall switch on and use the remote control for all of the functions including all of the speeds, the light, and other various settings. I like the fact that you can have a timer set via the remote control for various times of one hour or other options. That was a nice touch. For having the last ceiling fan needed to be added to our home, this is a big win. Highly recommend

Excellent quality and great air mover

I always looked at three blade fans and never thought they would move air was well as a five blade fan. Boy was I wrong. This fan works great, even on the lower settings. I cant see us ever needing to put this on high speed, even in the hottest weather. It looks beautiful in person, the website photos dont do it justice. My husband had no problem with installation, it was up and running in less than an hour. The fan has six speeds and even has a sleep timer. The blades appear to be real wood, but are very light weight. The fan was properly balanced right out of the box. The light is my only complaint. You can choose from three shades of white, but there is no dimming option.

    Beautiful light

The fan does the very job it was installed to do. Its the light thats the superstar here. Transitioning from old fashioned ceiling fans to the newer models with LED and remotes was a great move for me.

BEAUTIFUL fan with real wood blades.

1st off I would like to say that this is a very nice looking fan. The blades are real wood. It resembles an antique airplane prop. The end result is a nice looking fan with some neat variations of use on the remote including a natural wind setting. It doesnt seem to move quite the volume of wind as my older fan but that is probably the difference in this 3-blade vs my older 4-blade. I am not a professional so the installation caught me by surprise a little. It MUST be wired through the converter box as the motor works on DC. IF it is wired through the converter box, it is a very simple installation. I did not go through the simple route, but that is an amusing story for another day. As I stated, when wired through the included converter box, it would take less than an hour to install.

    Solid construction, works well

We installed this on a porch and its working great. Quality is pretty good and it went up easily enough. My wife likes the way the leaf blades move the air (not sure how you can tell the difference personally). But overall its a nice outdoor fan. Definitely a big improvement over the creaky and shaking old fan we had before.

Instructions lacking but fan really circulates air

We were replacing a non-working fan with this one. We installed the first one ourselves (and four others) so we have a bit of experience and therefore, decided to install this one as well. The directions are not the greatest. Perhaps they were initially written in another language and then translated? Anywaywe found them a little difficult to follow but we used past experience and figured it out. The fan itself is attractive. The blades are so beautiful and really lightweight. Not that you see them much, but we appreciated the weightlessness during installation. And the fan really moves the air! Having the remote is marriage-saving, as my husband likes the hurricane atmosphere, and I prefer a gentle breeze. So the remote makes its easy to compromise on the speed while we enjoy a movie. The light is incredibly bright and much needed in our dark family room. All in all, its a nice fan.
