This is used as extra storage in our sun room. It was a little smaller than I had anticipated but I have a larger chest in my bedroom and just rearranged what I was going to put in this new one. It does hold quite a bit it just isnt very tall. It is firm to sit on. It came in perfect condition and we just attached the legs. So far so good. We have had it about a month now.
Hinge on this piece is a joke. After only 4 months of use, with piece being opened maybe once a week, the hinge has totally failed. Ripped out of frame. Cannot fix because of the poor quality of the piece. Would not recommend to anyone. Would like a refund on this product
I had looked at a couple of similar pieces at local discount furniture stores and liked the storage seat concept, but what I looked at seemed cheap, flimsy and only came in black. I decided to take a chance and buy this through , since the reviews were good and I wanted something dark brown to go with a chair and sofa. When I unpacked it, I was immediately impressed. It looks perfect under a window and eliminated the need for another big chair in the living room. Sturdy enough to make a solid occasional seat, good looks (not cheap/looking) and great extra storage. If you are looking for extra seating or storage and want a piece that is compatible with furniture, this is an excellent choice.
Great accessory. Add a little more comfort to storage. Shipped perfectly and was easy to track. Love the color and now guests been observed bringing extra stuff.
super nice ottoman fits perfect in front of my couch so all can put their feet up. Looks well made and I think it was a good choice . Delivered in good condition. thanks

Using as a toy check, even tho the label says its not a toy chest. Looks good , can serve as a seat and works well
