I had looked at a couple of similar pieces at local discount furniture stores and liked the storage seat concept, but what I looked at seemed cheap, flimsy and only came in black. I decided to take a chance and buy this through , since the reviews were good and I wanted something dark brown to go with a chair and sofa. When I unpacked it, I was immediately impressed. It looks perfect under a window and eliminated the need for another big chair in the living room. Sturdy enough to make a solid occasional seat, good looks (not cheap/looking) and great extra storage. If you are looking for extra seating or storage and want a piece that is compatible with furniture, this is an excellent choice.
