I had several issues with these stools. I ordered black color stools, but they sent me white. I requested a replacement t get the black one, and they sent me white again. So I had to carry the huge packages to the UPS store and ended up with white stools again. I decided to keep the white color because I learned that they do not have black ones in stock anymore. Then, I tried to assemble them and found out that one of the stools rising mechanisms is broken. So I had to get another replacement and had to carry the huge package to the UPS again. So it was a very disappointing experience for me. Other than these problems, these are nice and basic bar stools. They are okay quality. They are a bit expensive for what they are. You can find better quality and looking stools for this price.
I like these bar stools. I like that they are adjustable in height. I just wish they added felt at the bottom or something else to not scratch the floor. One already started to squeak when I sit in it. Im only 130 lbs.
I found these fairly easy to put together. They look good, the seats are comfortable, and the height is easy to adjust. But there are two things that keep me from rating them higher. One is that the backs are pretty much useless. You have to lean pretty far back before your back hits the backrest, and its not a comfortable position. I wish they were more upright and not as angled so that they actually offered support. Having backs was kinda the whole reason I ordered these to replace my backless barstools. Two is that the seats lower a bit when you sit and raise up a bit when you get up. I suppose Ill get used to this, but right now its kind of freaking me out and I keep thinking Im going to break them.
The only reason I gave these chairs 4 stars is because there were white chairs in a box clearly labeled black chairs. I wanted black chairs but the box is too heavy for me to pick up and return so I kept these. They are really nice and easy to assemble. The height is adjustable and easy to do. They spin around and the seat is cushioned. I like the pattern of the seat and the ease of cleaning the chairs.
These are exactly what I was looking for when it came to island chairs. I had some old paddle chairs that were extremely uncomfortable but these chairs really take the sitting experience to the next level. The assembly was easy and took no more than a few minutes for both chairs. The quilting and stitching on the chairs is very high quality and I will continue to use these chairs for years to come as I like them so much.

Assembly was pretty simple. Just attach the seat to the rest of the chair with screws and everything else slides together. Just make sure you remove the protective cover at the end of the hydraulics so the chair can be adjusted. I missed that somehow when I put together the first chair, even though it mentions it in the directions.
The chair is very comfortable. Ive had a few family members try it and we generally agree. The padding has the right amount of firmness. The back is kind of low, so you cant lean or slouch back too hard, but it does let you lean backwards a little if you want to. I have it set up in front of this home arcade machine so Im usually leaning forward. If you do want a lot of back support, you might want to look for a different stool, but I didnt need it. Build quality is pretty good, too. Parts are made out of solid, sturdy metal. I think it can last a while.
I love these white bar stools, but they arrived with a long visible scratch across the front of one footrest. Also, I ordered in black because they were out of white, but was thrilled when I opened the box and found they had sent the white ones even though the order specifies Black (happy accident). The quilting, cushion filling, and stitching is even and the seating is very comfortable. The base is heavy and they are sturdy. The lift and release is smooth. I really like them but believe I may have received a return due to i rely on unbiased customer reviews for my own purchases, so my reviews are always honest and fair. I hope it helps!

Squeaks when rotating
Comfy. Looks nice. BUT it squeaks evvvery time you turn. So annoying. Paid too much for it to being that.
