Simple, unique and elegant I like how sturdy it is and the height off the ground making it easier to store stuff as well as easy to get off and on the bed without the need for a box spring.
This frame is solid! The hardware and welds appear strong! I bought this for my 64, 260lb son. Ive had it up for about a week, and so far so good. The frame not only supports his weight, but another 70lbs of a Savile Row plush mattress (which is also excellent in quality)!
I was a little skeptical before ordering, due what another reviewer said about slats cracking. I dont believe that theyre made of hardwood, but as long as you arent using the bed as a wrestling ring, I think theyll last. They are 3? inch (long/wide, depending on how you look at it) and ? inch thick. They have some flex, but probably wont break the way that the weight is over all distributed. Ive seen some sites say that the slats should be no more than 2-3 inches apart, and some others 3-4. These slats are placed 4 inches apart, and I will attest that they seem to be supporting the mattress without issue. Plus, I figure I can always get more slats made if it comes to that, but I dont think that it will. If worse comes to worst, you can always put a bunkie board between the frame and the mattress, but, like I said, it seems to be supporting the mattress just fine.
The only small criticism that I have is that the actual nuts and bolts could be better labeled, so that they correspond with the diagram on the instructions. I feel that they need to be lettered like the parts of the actual frame. I had to study the bolts and diagram a few minutes to ensure I was putting the long and short bolts where they needed to be. Moreover, the foam coverings on the legs simply dont fit in my opinion. I could only get them to fit on the center support legs. It would have been nice to have foam that slides on the legs without tearing up, but, Ill try not to stub my toes.
Overall, I recommend this frame. If anything changes, I will revise my feedback. Its easy to put together, super sturdy, quiet as a mouse, and is thus far a great value! You do not need box springs with this mattress; indeed, the bed would be way too high for most. At fourteen inches high, plus your mattress height, thats plenty of height. 11? inch storage containers will clear the frame.
Ive bought some totally metal frames that failed. This one, even with the wooden slats, seems like its going to last forever.
Excellent value for money Pictures on assembly could be better but I managed to put it together regardless, took less than an hour. This is very heavy metal - helps to have someone holding pieces while putting in nuts and bolts. My extremely heavy hybrid mattress ( king size ) seems to be well supported. I heard no noise my first night. I will update if things change over time.
Very well made and great design This is exactly what I wanted! Durable, easy to assemble (did it myself!), minimal lines, and space underneath for storage. Highly recommend! Only downside was the weight of the package - I had to unload it on my porch! Would definitely buy again!
Well engineered, good quality and great looking. Great value! No squeaky rails. Attached a headboard easily. When you assemble, pay attention to which legs you put at the head of the bed if you want to attach a headboard later.
Love it! It looks great and arrived with no ... The bed frame we have now has broken and instead of sending it to a capable carpenter to fix it, we decided to use this as a substitute. It worked just great. This saved us deconstructing our current frame and all we had to do was insert this genius of platform within our old frame. Yippee. It was easy to assemble, but did take a bit longer than they say. I would suggest the wooden slats be made of a stronger wood. And, they said there was a protective equipment included as a gift, nice, but they forgot to include the gift. Thank you, I am sure we will get years of use out this bed frame.

You cant hook headboards to the frame
