Grab it if you can I was hesitant to get a metal frame because I really wanted the look of a wood frame, but I couldnt risk the wood splitting as my boyfriend and I are not small people. I dont think it looks bad at all and will look even better once we add a headboard. So far this seems to be extremely sturdy, Ill try and follow up after a while if using it.
This was easy to assemble, I did so alone in about an hour and 15 mins. I read other reviews saying the instructions were poor, which I found to be true. I found the missing information I needed to figure out for myself was that 2 I screws are used at each corner with 2 J screws and K nuts. It took me a while to figure out what to do with the I screws and how I was going to have enough screws for each corner.
Update: were 2 months into using this bed frame and its sturdy as ever. So far its holding up great and doesnt move or make noise.
After discovering that had delivered the bed to my neighbor, I recovered it and started to put it together. The package is well packed, with a plastic coated box so that if it happens to get wet during the delivery process, it doesnt fall apart before it reaches your house. Nice. Parts are individually wrapped inside the box for protection as well, but 2 of the frame legs had significant scratches on them. Fortunately, the scratches were on the inside surface so they would not show after assembly. Directions for assembly were -like, but not quite as good due to the pictures being very small and showing very little detail. I figured it out and got it together in about 30 minutes; if I had to do it over again, it would take me 10. The wood slats are a bit thin, but should be OK, neither my wife or myself are heavyweights. Hardware for the bed is regular bolts and screws, appropriately sized and NyLock nuts so they stay tight forever. Also good. Many times the hardware on kits is cheap and a source of later failure. Not with this one. Would recommend as a good bed for a very reasonable price.
Beautiful, sturdy modern design Overall - for price and sturdiness I give it 5 stars! My husband is 6 5 350lbs and we are impressed with how little the wooden slats bow under him. I spent HOURS searching for a bed frame sturdy enough for us. We had spent $3500 on our last and it didnt make it a year before we had to reinforce the underneath. He assembled it all in under an hour alone and used a power drill though, you can just use a screw driver if you dont have one! We love that it has holes on the two top legs for headboard attachments as well.
Sturdy, Modern, Easy to Assemble! This frame was easy to assemble and feels to be very sturdy. I like that it is not so low to the floor and with our 14 mattress is definitely as high as we like it. I would expect it to hold up well.

Good value for a steel frame

Wooden slats slide off
Its confy and easy to build, but the wooden slats just barely sit on there, some come right off when making the bed and tucking the sheets underneath
