it would have been great had one of the parts not been a full inch too short. I can't even finish building the bed without this peice and now I'm not getting any response from the company about replacing it. I've just moved into a new apartment and I payed a lot of money for this bed so that I don't have to sleep on a mattress on the floor but I guess I'm going to have to anyway? i wish the company would respond so I know I haven't wasted hundreds of dollars
My son LOVES his bed. It was easy but time consuming to put it together. It is taller than other loft beds I have looked at... really this is just like a bunk bed without the bottom bunk. It is sturdy, and my son loves climbing up to his bed and being able to hide from me up there (and in his fort). Bought a curtain set for the lower bed (couldn't find any for tall beds) and it is the best ever according to my son. Forgive the picture as I haven't gotten his walls all the way stripped yet for painting.
My son loves his bed. Took some time to put together but not terribly hard. It’s sturdy but of course shakes a little. The ladder stairs are hard to walk up but I put pool noodles around them to help. I wish there was an opening to the bed from the stairs but it doesn’t bother my son. He loves his bed!
My son LOVES his new bed. He thinks his room is so cool with his desk underneath. It's not as bad as I thought it would be changing the sheets. I don't like climbing on top because I feel like I'm going to break it. It does sway a little bit when adults climb up there, but it does support the weight. The only thing that I don't like is that there isn't an opening where the ladder goes up and he has to climb over the bars. Other than that, it's great. There was a small dent in the front of the bed, but it's not too noticeable.
My son loves this bed. He is 6 so he was a little scared of going up and down at first because there is no gap by the ladders to get over the railing. But he now loves the bed more than anything! He thinks it’s incredible. Lots of reviews said it was hard to put together but I (mom) did it myself in just a few hours and this was after I made every possible mistake first. Lol. Make sure that you leave the screws holding the base a little loose until the slats are put in then tighten to avoid any fitting issues. We love it!
