    Very easy to put together

Very easy to put together, directions were pretty straight forward. Not all the parts were labeled but the pictures made it easy to figure out. holding up nicely to my kids climbing all over it.

    Great price for the product

The 250 lb weight limit I question to some degree considering the integrity of the ladder and the upper bunk. However, our 33 lb. nearly 4-year old loves it. We bought 2, 8" mattresses and, in hindsight, we should have stuck w/ 6" max for the upper bunk. But, hopefully this kid is durable. Lol. Assembly didn't suck as bad as Ikea furniture assembly, but it wasn't a walk in the park either. The instructions can mislead you to assemble it incorrectly, causing an extra hour to unassemble and flip it around and re-assemble it... the instructions just weren't crystal clear. So, pay close attention. I wish they'd not use the world's toughest adhesive on the 2 large, white warning labels (yes, I get that we aren't supposed to remove them, but I'm a rebel, I removed them anyway).... Typically I'd use Goof-Off to remove labels and adhesives, but it quickly appeared to be removing the black finish off the beds. So, I switched to Windex, lots of paper towels and some good ole fashioned elbow grease. It took 6 hours and 3 beers, but we got this bad boy assembled and the kid loves it. All in all, we dig it and we're glad it's a done deal. Great price for the product, really.

Sturdy. Not that hard to put together

Sturdy. Not that hard to put together. Read the instructions a head of time and take your time. The only issue I had was with the connecting U shaped pieces of metal for the futon sofa. I'm not really sure what their purpose was and they bent on first use. My son complained about the steps hurting his feet the first time using it, but he hasn't said anything since.

    Easy to put together

Easy to put together, no problem with plastic inserts that other reviewers seemed to have trouble with. My research showed this one as the best value, and the actual product proved the research to be correct! Would order again if I needed another trundle bed.

Excellent beds at a great price!

Good deal for the price. The slats for the mattresses seem like they'll bend quickly. Ours are used by a 12 and 13 year old. There's lots of exhausted (and at times, exasperated) "flopping" down on the bed that happens and they've held up so far. They have now started squeaking, after a few months of heavy use, but it isn't bad. The height is great. They like that when it's separated into two regular beds they sit lower than a mattress/box spring set. It's just their size. We may buy another set just to use one for our preschooler because it's low. It was easy for one person to assemble. The second bed went much faster than the first because I had gotten into a good rhythm with the clips. Follow other reviewers device to use something to push them in besides your fingers, makes it much easier. Serves its purpose well. Overall we are happy with our purchase.

Easy to assemble by two teenage college boys and it's still going strong!

Two teenage boys put this together in their apartment. My son is 6 foot 5 and they have had no trouble with it so far since September. I found out they didn't bother to put the little plastic things in the holes for the slats. I'm not very happy about that, but so far it has not affected the bed in any way. They also chose to take the ladder off as it hurt their feet and they didn't need it. So bottom line. Two college baseball player boys have not broken this yet. Great price. Update: After six months we had to tear it down to move my son and it was still going strong. I will say that if you have to take it apart, although easy, there are a billion pieces :)

Harder to put together because the pieces just didn't fit but works for what it needed to work for.

A good bunk bed at a really good price.

A good bunk bed at a really good price. I like the metal construction as it seems like it is very sturdy and strong.
