Though there was some minor trickiness in putting this loft together, it was not too bad for a two person team. It feels secure and my daughter loves it!
This is a very durable and strong set of bunk beds, I like the fact that these are one of the only metal ones that turn into two separate beds if you need it. Now putting it together is another stor. I gave it 4 stars because the people that place the stickers on the parts actually put the wrong letters on the parts so I had to take it apart and put it back together again. If you buy this product there are about 50 very small plastic pieces that have to be placed above each of the bars that hold the mattress in place, the easiest way for me was to place the hammer close to the plastic and gently push it in with a hammer by applying pressure but not hitting with a hammer. That was really the hardest part, other than that I really love these bunk beds and am extremely satisfied with everything about them.
My daughter loves this. She's six. I find the ladder to painful for an adult foot. The whole bed is shaky, which I think one can get used to. It's definitely strong, but it sways.
It think you really MUST affix it to a wall to make it feel secure. It comes with brackets for doing just that, and the instructions tell you to do it. I do with the brackets were a bit longer, so they'd reach my wall.
Update: I contacted Walker Edison, asking for an extra bracket to increase the stability of bed by having three connections to the wall instead of two. They IMMEDIATELY sent me the bracket (actually they sent two bracket plus bolts). I would definitely buy more of their products in the future.
Easily fits under bed. Easy to put together. One star minus because the wheels don't "lock" so the moving bed can be a bit tricky especially with kids who like to "stand" on the bed.

Not too painful to assemble.
Made my daughters room bigger!
What a great way to open up a room. Desk and bookcase fit underneath.
You'll need to bolt it to the wall.
