    Fun setup

My son loves his new bed setup. It took me and my husband a little over an hour to assemble. Parts were labeled and went smoothly. Bed is a little wobbly but secure.

    Very sturdy!

It’s great! Extremely sturdy, not too high to the ceiling. My daughter loves it! I just wish the ladder was a little easier to climb up.

    Great product design!

Very much impressed with this bed frame. My son absolutely loves it and i love that the sides are completely closed up so i dont have to worry about him rolling out in the middle of the night, even with a thick mattress there is still plenty of railing to keep him safe! He seings on the bottom of it like a monkey and its still holding up great. I definitely recommend!

    Useful

I bought this two years ago and have only just replaced it. I'm average height; went from 150-190lbs while I had it; never slept with another person on it. I love that it enabled me to have twice the room in my tiny studio apartment last year - it was so, so worth the purchase. Not that difficult to put together, either (and I took it apart twice to move) - but you do need another person at least to assemble and get it up. However, now that I'm in a 2br apartment and have a little more space I decided to switch to something lower. The bed seems structurally still very sound, but over the last several months (or maybe it was slowly over the years) began squeaking a lot as i tossed and turned. Coupled with some lovely anxiety I have à la the Southside horror about things collapsing, it was keeping me awake at night and I couldn't put up with it anymore. (I would have felt comfortable giving it away to someone else - it was just irrational anxiety. But note, it WILL start squeaking after a while!) I'm not even sure *what* was doing the squeaking, since I examined it very carefully both times I took it apart and everything seemed well. As others have noted, the ladder rungs are thin and uncomfortable to step on; I initially used the pool noodle hack but they broke pretty quickly (like, a matter of days/weeks). It then became a situation of me wrapping scrap fabric around the noodles on the rungs, draping half-dirty clothing over them, etc. Total mess, in other words. That needs a solution! Overall, good purchase; it was what I needed at the time and it bore up admirably.

    Soo much floor space!

Excellent bed freeze up a lot of space for kid playing. The bed is pretty sturdy my son is 12 years old 5'8 and seems to work great for him however the only issue and as other reviewers have put is declining ladder seems to hurt the bottom of your feet,, piping insulation cut to fit around the ladder seems to fix the problem.

    Not sturdy enough

It’s okay, but it wobbles. It isn’t sturdy enough in my opinion. If you move around then you don’t feel as safe.

    It saved me.

I just moved to NYC and my first room was like a matches box, since I work from home I needed a space to have my office set. I bought this and it saved me A LOT of space! I can say is very uncomfortable to get up and get down from it when you are not use to bunk beds but if you looking to have more space in your room, this definitely will help. I had to put some pool noodles on the stairs to make them more comfortable and also bed moves and makes noise, but I guess that if you are a kid you won’t mind for that.
