Very easy to assemble and is pretty sturdy. You will want to either use some lock tight or make sure you go through and tighten the bolts every few weeks as they do start to loosen. That’s expected though with a metal product. My son loves his bed and his area beneath it.
Took my husband about 2-3 hrs to put together himself. My 4 yo loves it. The stairs are very uncomfortable but that’s an easy fix by adding cushions or cutting pool noodles. Overall very happy with my purchase.

I'm over 30, almost 6ft tall and around 175lbs and I don't give a sh*t, this loft bed is great. We put an Ikea fold out couch underneath and the room is fantastic now. Bought a double mattress from Ikea as well and I have nothing negative to say whatsoever. One of the best purchases I've made in a long time. Especially good because you can just climb up there and feel like you're getting away from it all. You and another person? Sure, just take it to the floor if things start getting rough. Measure your room and buy it!

This is very scary to be on. Plus the idea that the weight max is 250 lbs is scary when you think of the weight of the matress being 45lbs and an average adult running 180 to 190lbs.
It wobbles a little if I move around and it is a little high for comfort. Sure the storage space is great but the wobbling makes me anxious its about to fall apart

I live in the living room of a single bedroom apartment in Manhattan, and it allowed my roommate and I to fit in a futon and a lot of furniture where we probably couldn’t have if it weren’t for this loft bed.
I love how much space it opened in our room , it's very sturdy my only complaints are that it is near impossible for one person to build you will absolutely need a helping hand and I would recommend some kind of cusion for the ladder steps as they aren't the most comfortable
