Wasn't too difficult to assemble and once done properly it is stable and awesome. Saves space and now I have an awesome loft that I can creep up to an relax, read, sleep in peace. I'm over 30, almost 6ft tall and around 175lbs and I don't give a sh*t, this loft bed is great. We put an Ikea fold out couch underneath and the room is fantastic now. Bought a double mattress from Ikea as well and I have nothing negative to say whatsoever. One of the best purchases I've made in a long time. Especially good because you can just climb up there and feel like you're getting away from it all. You and another person? Sure, just take it to the floor if things start getting rough. Measure your room and buy it!
