Not a snap to assemble. Lots of pieces. In the end, it was worth the effort. My son is 1I and about 140 pounds and this is plenty sturdy for him. Having the space underneath is perfect for a small room. Wobbles a bit when climbing the ladder, but it feels safe. Do pick your mattress wisely. I bought a full size Tuft and Needle foam mattress for it and the mattress was to wide. I was focused on the height of the mattress and just assumed a full would fit.

It's a sturdy, comfortable bed. I have a small room so this was necessary and it looks very nice. It wobbles a tiny bit but only because I don't have it bolted to the wall (it does come with the option) and my only real dissatisfaction is that the round ladder steps are a bit painful. The railing isn't too high but high enough so I don't fall out. I highly enjoy this bed.
This bed is perfect for a small room! My 7year old boy uses this and he loves it and has gotten compliments from friends he has over. It does wobble a little bit but seems sturdy enough...and this is with him walking roughly on top of it!
Relatively easy to put together - if you can put together Ikea furniture I think this is even easier. Everything is labeled! Just don't tighten a section until it's assembled. We put led christmas lights underneath and he uses it as a reading nook.
This trundle was perfect to slide under my son’s bed and it was very easy to put together. We also bought a bunkie board to support the 6 inch foam mattress that was bought separately and it was just the right height. I just wish the trundle had some short support rails to keep the mattress from sliding off the trundle.

Though the item came without instructions, my 10yr old and 9yr old daughters were able to Google instruction manual and get it done in one day.
