Took 3 hours to set up. However wasn’t hard to set up. The instructions are super clear and it’s a very sturdy bed. Ladder supports a 300 pound person without bending. However it sets up like a cradle. So you have to climb over a bar when up the ladder.
I needed a way to free up floor space. I had a twin mattress that needed to go above a queen size bed and this worked perfectly that that. The bed was easier to put together than Ikea products by far, took us about 2 hours. It would have been quicker if I had more space to work in but it went great. It does squeak some and the rungs are not comfortable to climb but my 8 year old son loves it up there.
Surprisingly sturdy and well made! A bit shorter underneath than expected, but it still fit my desk perfectly and I can actually sit up in bed, so I'm happy with it!
The ladder rungs hurt a bit, but it's nothing someone can't deal with.
?I love this so much! Plenty of room on the top and on the bottom. I would recommend getting a bedside buddy shelf to hold your phone/ drink. So far this bed in amazing and is saving so much space!
