    Sturdy, space/saving

This is a great way to make use of a tiny room. The storage space underneath is great! The bed itself is sturdy enough for an adult. The only cons I have to report were: 1. the instructions were a little unclear. They are all pictures, no words, which is handy for people who speak and read different languages, but it would have been really good to have a little bit of explanation on a couple of the steps. However, I managed it all by myself over a couple of evenings. 2. The ladder and ladder/opening are pretty narrow. If you are an adult with hips, it is a tight squeeze. But overall, I am very happy with how this turned out and it turned a tiny room into a really useful space. Do the work.

    Great bed, we love it!

Thoroughly pleased! My baby boy 5, loves his new big boy bed. The bed came in two boxes, one long one around 150lbs and a box for the desk, around 30lbs. I purchased the Clay. I have been in search of a suitable bed for my child for a few months and I choose this bed for a few reasons 1.Solid wood, most of the contenders were not solid and had particle board, I considered the DONCO Kids Low Study Loft Bed, Dark Cappuccino for reference 2.Weight limit, this has a 400 lb weight limit that he can grow into and I dont have to worry about it breaking down 3.No Proposition 65 Warning 4.Neutral color, he has a dark wood chest of drawers and this fit in with existing decor 5.Desk storage included as he has a small room It took two days for install, started on Sunday afternoon at 30pm, finished at 9pm, had whole bed installed except for desk. I took wine breaks lol. Desk installed next day and took 20 minutes. Only needed help to connect side rails, everything else I was able to do on my own because I am a beast at all things. All hardware/wood was accounted for before install and that took some time as well. Instructions (44pages) are visual only and very simple to understand. I only encountered two issues. Item 1A , I had to swap pieces 1920 as they were backwards. And I was not able to add one of the corner screws for the desk, hole mismatch possibly, did not want to force it and damage anything, left it be. Pretty sturdy. Due to it being in a temporary location until we move, I did not secure all of the wood slats on the bed frame, just the middle and more than secure. I also skipped the corner bracket install for the desk, its pretty solid and can do without. I opted for a 8inch mattress but it think you could probably get away with a 10inch. Also there was a light order from the wood/paint, it has dissipated in the past 24hours. No real damage to the wood, just a nick on one of the shelves and one side of the desk was slightly discolored. Overall worth the 540, going to put a sheet over front so he can still have a little secret cave to play but this is a great buy. I would suggest this bed. I was pretty hesitant to buy as it had not reviews but here you go. Awesome!

    Bought for my granddaughter.

Bought for my granddaughter she is four years old and needed a new big girl bed instead of a toddler bed. Her mom chose this one because of the storage underneath. Its not as tall as normal bunkbeds but high enough off the ground that you can fit a lot of things under it. Im 57 and put it together by myself in about 3 Hours. Just follow the directions and you cant mess it up. Very happy with the purchase and my granddaughter loves it. Fair for the price.

A little wobbly but seems ok

Bought this for my almost 3 year old. Bed is a little wobbly but all screws are tight. Probably just because its top heavy. The slats they provide are pretty flimsy and definitely need to add one more. Will probably have to add more heavy duty slats when my daughter gets older, if it holds up. My mom climbed in the bed with my daughter and read her a book, not sure where they got a 350 lb limit but I definitely wouldnt put more than 200 lbs in the bed. Stick with a 6 inch mattress for smaller kids and make sure the mattress is firm. We need a better mattress, the one we bought was falling through the slats which is why I recommend more slats! Will update later if the bed falls apart Perfect for my needs.

    Great, affordable product!

Perfect bed for my little one who was transitioning from a toddler bed, to a big kid bed! Great height, not too tall but tall enough to where you can have playtime underneath. I would recommend getting a 6 mattress. It fit perfectly. HAPPY!!

    Opens up space

This bed opened up space in my kids room, not quite tall enough for her to stand under but low enough that she wont be a trauma patient if she falls. We did have to tighten all the bolts and screws after about two months of use. A good buy!

Perfect for our 3 year old daughter!

It was easy to put together and is sturdy. I had to help my hubby hold up pieces as he screwed it together. But other wise he said he could have done it with his eyes closed. My daughter loves that she has a little area to play in under her bed as well. So its a win win for us. You know we all need that extra storage especially after Christmas and this bed definitely helped with that! It is ok.

Well made bed! Great value and looks great!

This was delivered and packaged in a very meticulous manner. Every piece was intact and accounted for. This bed is a great space saver for our sons small bedroom. It is also a great value, and our son absolutely loves it! Nice size.
