Once you figure out the first few steps in putting the bed together its pretty simple because the steps are basically repetitive. I did it by myself.
There is not much space between the lower and top bunk. The buck bed we had before this one, an adult could almost completely sit up straight in the lower buck without hitting their head. Im not sure if its because the top buck is a full but it feels and sounds like the boards are going to break when my 52lb 8 year old daughter is on it. She is literally just turning over and not being wild. I do not completely feel safe on the lower bunk,yet.
First of all, they sent me a single twin with a trundle, not the bunk with a trundle that I paid for. Had to use it because I needed the beds right away. No phone number for customer service. This purchase would be a one star except that the bed looks beautiful. Description says each bunk can support 400 lbs. That is EXTREMELY questionable. I stepped on the trundle with one foot while I was maneuvering around the beds to put bedding on them and heard a huge crack. I have large teenage boys which is why I wanted something sturdy. I will definitely be adding some support to these, either a bunkie board or some extra slats. Pretty disappointing purchase for the price. compare to the price
I am really impressed with quality and design of this bunkbed. For example, the underneath slats ( 7per bed ) are connected by strap and are each screwed in to the side board. Plus there is a meatal strip down the middle that the slats rest on. This meatal beam is screwed into the footboard and headboard railing. I feel confident of the sturdyness and safety for my grandkids sake. The icing on the cake is how nice it looks. I choose the Expresso finish. Beautiful. I am very satisfied
The instructions are well written, and it is packaged well to prevent scratches. The bed is sturdy and beautiful when put together. However, they failed to send the hardware with the trundle, so after a trip to Lowes, we were able to make it work. Product was easy to assemble and sturdy at a great value
This was a surprise outcome to a necessary purchase. We did not expect this trundle bun bed to be such a pleasantly surprising product / very high quality, very easy to assemble, very sturdy and quite good looking. Love this product
Customer service hands down gets 5 stars! We were missing middle support beam for upper and lower called, filled a short little form out, had a question called she looked it up for me and helped me through it ( needed part number and hubby threw away instructions with that on there) she was so helpful and had Oren right away/ and even tho they only sent one of the two I emailed them and they apologized and had the other one in a few days. The entire thing was the best experience with customer service ever!! Super nice, helpful, and fast with shipping!
Onto putting this together: 3/4 stars as I was not the one who put it together I heard lots of swearing out of hubby while he was putting it together. He did not enjoy it and took him a few hours to do so. Some pictures didnt make sense right away.
End result: my girls ( 2 and 4) love it! Well worth it! / also because I didnt put it together! Extremely easy to assemble
Weve been using the double full size mattress with trundle for the past 2 months. For a small room to fit a family of 4. Its my first bunk bed purchase, i kept in mind the specs of the mattress thickness. It works well for us, squeaks a bit when climbing onto the top bunk. I am happy with the purchase. So far so good

Good quality , sturdy and attractive bunkbeds.

Economical solution for small spaces; Fun for the kids.
