My husband and I took around 2 hours to put together the bunk beds. My husband put together the trundle on his own. No missing parts. There was an odor, so we aired out the room for 3 days.
Read many reviews prior to purchase, and I felt the biggest issue was the spacing of the slats. I sent my husband to buy more slats from Home Depot. Also, you need to screw the original slats to the frame at an angle, so my husband pre/drilled holes to prevent splitting the bed/frame wood. We simply stapled our extra slats to the black straps to hold them in place. Refer to my photo.
My oldest son (59 lbs) sleeps on the top bunk. My daughter (40 lbs) sleeps on the bottom bunk. My youngest son (35 lbs) sleeps on the trundle.
My husband is 175 lbs, and lies on the top bunk all the time. My kids sometimes walk on the trundle to get to their bed. A month later, and the bed is going strong. High level of physical
We ordered the full over full with trundle bunk bed set. The set up took a little bit of time about 4 hours but my husband completed it all by himself. My two girls share a room and one is a teen and the other is a pre teen. We love how the beds look and feel. There is a slight jiggle if you move too rough when on the top bunk but that is to be expected. For the price we are happy especially with the third twin size trundle bed for when the girls have a friend over or if their little brother (he is only 4) tries to sleep with his sisters for the night! We would recommend this bunk bed. fondle admiringly

The workmanship and quality of parts are second to none. Nice color. Even the bolts are colored. Nice finished product.
I do believe we will get two thin sheets of plywood though for under our mattresses as they are spring.

Good buy overall. It is exactly as pictured. I do not like how some of the pieces are not very sturdy. When my child gets on the top bunk and lays down, it moves more than I would expect for a small child. Some of the pieces are a bit thin as well. comfortable and stylish product, great for guests
The bed took my wife and I a couple of hours to build. Instructions were easy enough. There was some damage to the headboard pieces from shipping and the ladder wasnt cut properly on one end, but its not noticeable after attaching the hardware. Wasnt worth sending it back. Better than I even expected
