My daughters slide broke within 8-9 days after we assembled it. And it was not simple to assemble some screws didnt fit well and then got stuck and stripped when we tried to remove it... So part of hwr bed just isnt put together. I paid for a warranty that i never received as well. Great quality and design for the value

The bed was not hard to put together. Its very solid. Its looks bigger than I thought. BEWARE, IT DOES NOT FIT A LONG COLLEGE MATRESS. I had to buy a new mattress. It squeaks a little bit but does not really rock which is a problem with taller bunk beds I own. Also, this had a strong factory/wood/paint kind of smell. It made the entire apartment smell like it and it almost felt un reachable in the childs room. Had to keep a couple of box fans aimed at the bed on full speed for a full 2 weeks before we finally noticed that the smell was just faint. Now a month out, it no longer smells. Comfortable, and looks nice too.
My kids are two and 4 and this is perfect for them. We put a mattress on the bottom for my who year old. They go up the ladder and down the slide constantly and its sturdy. No issues! worth every penny
