This is for my 9yr old it is sturdy and looks like it will hold up very well. The only thing that was made assembly difficult was that the wooden pieces were not marked. You had to figure out which piece was which. Otherwise it went together very easily if u follow instructions. Value for money.

The kids love that they can play underneath. Love the pull out desk! Sturdy wood! Everything about this product was great. My babies love it just as much as I do so thumbs up!! Good quality.
This is a really great bed for the price point. It is solid wood where it counts and nice looking. Easy enough to assemble but took two at a certain point but not a big deal. Kids love it easy to put together.
Seems very sturdy with one exception. One of the rails that hold the desk to the bed broke and gluing doesnt work. I have been unable to find out if I can replace that one part. Otherwise it seems sturdy. It took about six hours to put together but instructions were easy to follow. Despite the one problem, my daughter loves it. much smaller than pictured.
After putting together a dresser from a different company, I can say with confidence that the assembly for this item is great. Easy to follow, understand, and most importantly all of the screw holes are pre/drilled and it didnt break in half during assembly. Easy assembly.
I just finish assembling this bed. It took me a couple of afternoons to put it together. Some hardware pieces were missing, so I ran to my local hardware store and picked it up. I did not want to go through the channel if customer service.
It was not easy to build, pieces were not labled. I had to look at pictures in the manual to figure out which is which. Hard ware came in four packs and they were labeled, but labeling was confusing and in some cases inaccurate, so you have to make sense of which is which.
We bought an 18in mattress and it leaves a few inching for the rail. For younger kids I recommend a 10in mattress .
My 11 yo loved it. It is definitely a space saver. She loved the hiding/reading corner Under the bed.
The only thing I do not like is that it can go in one direction. You can not put the ladder on the left for example Love it!
Very well made for the price. All parts accurately cut and drilled, hardware is good quality, the finish seems durable. Assembly took some time (there are a lot of pieces) but was not difficult. It really takes two people for the bedframe, but the desk, dresser and shelf can be managed by one person. Make sure to double check where the pre/drilled holes are at each step, especially on the bed frame, or you can end up with the holes in the wrong places for subsequent steps. Better than expected.

My daughter received this as a birthday gift. My husband assembled with no issues. And there is a good amount of storage. Good.
