I'm a 71 year old female who suddenly had to assemble this on my own. Pieces were clearly marked including all the hardware. Written description to go along with pictures of each step. In 2-1/2 hours I had the island assembled. Lookss good!
When I say not high quality, I mean it's mostly plastic. The instruction manual is better than many, but the color scheme makes it difficult to really see detail in the pieces to understand proper orientation. Not all pieces had numbers (may have fallen off at some point in packing or manufacturing). I made very few mistakes during assembly, but did have to spend time really studying the instructions. I assembled this by myself and really could have used another set of hands, especially on the drawer and door portions. The butcher block top appears to be a vinyl and not even wood vainer. I wanted it as a place to keep small appliances to get them off my counter, but it's smaller than I anticipated and not really serving the purpose as well as I had hoped.
EDIT: Based on this review, I was contacted by customer support offering a partial refund. I did not accept the refund because the unit does function as designed, but I did offer suggestions on both the assembly instruction and a couple of quality improvements. Any company that responds so favorably is, in my book, a quality company. Don't be afraid to do business with these folks and remember, my views are subjective.
Love the size and adjustable shelving, takes some time to put together and Im a well seasoned handyman, I used wood glue where ever I could to add sturdiness. I wish the draw was soft close and the doors. The top is very thin and hollow, I wouldnt trust a meat cleaver on it. Great storage, great prep area.
This was a surprisingly nice quality product and is very pretty! Everything and all parts of this cart need to be put together which took a while. Once done I love it and have received many compliments on it,

I love, love, love my stainless steel cart. Practical, durable and beautiful.

The only thing is I had 2 missing screws. Cant finish assemble of island till I find some screws
