What I did like was I was able to put it together by myself. What I didn't like was that instead of the 5 tubes to put on the legs of the frame for me not to stub my toes, there were only 2. No problem with that. It is a quiet frame when I'm getting in and out of my bed. No squeaks yet. I'm overall happy with my new purchase.
The bed frame is sturdy and quiet. There is plenty of shortage underneath, we are able double a couple storage containers. When we were setting it up, we found it easier to lay out the pieces first and follow the directions, its also good to have a second person. The foam pieces to put on the legs to protect from stubbed toes, we cut them in half and sliced them so they would fit around the leg.
Prior before I purchased this platform bed, my weight and the weight of my king size mattress would demolish the box springs. This well built platform bed solved that problem easily and looks like it may outlast the life of the bed mattress. I thought that the center part of the platform bed was all wooden because of the photo, but I was wrong. The center part is a huge metal plus sign or cross that was painted to look wooden. The only things that were wooden were the slats that ran horizontal across the platform bed frame.
