Listen, as a mechanic, this bed should not have been as much of a pain to put together as it was. I wouldnt say its hard, just annoying. It does take a little finesse to prevent the sides from bowing in but, for the money, its really not terrible. There were a few burn holes but once I put it together completely you cant see them. Would I buy it again? No. However, it does the job and is fairly cute.
I ordered the dark gray bed frame. It came on time if not a little early. I assembled it myself and it took maybe an hour. Everything was easy except the left wing doesnt have the part inside the wood for the bottom screw to attach itself to. Soooo the left wing isnt secure and I have to push that side up against a wall. I bought it for my 11 year old son so he doesnt care. I like that the slats are on a Velcro strip.
It took about 5 hours to assemble. Directions werent clear, all parts were not labeled. The holes didnt line up properly for the side panels, so we had to make our own.
This bed came before the stated date which was great.
It came well packaged. Easy enough to put together.
It looks exactly as pictured.
But Im not convinced on the sturdiness of the bed. Its holding together just fine, but not as hardy as my other bed. (But the other bed was a more expensive bed from Ashleys)
Altogether, Im happy with the bed.

i put it together all by myself it took about 2 hours. it was pretty straightforward looks super cute in my room. easy to move sturdy 10/10
Easy to assemble and very sturdy
Took maybe 30 minutes to put together, pretty simple and easy directions. Very secure and sturdy. No wobbles or creaking. We love it.
