So far this has been great! We got this for our 8 yr old daughter and my husband who is 185 pounds also slept on it as well. Her friends love it for sleepover bc its very roomy for 2 kids/even had 3 kids. The ladder steps do hurt my feet but doesnt seem to hurt the kids as much nor do they seem to mind. It took 2 of us to put together and a few hours. Its a great space saving solution/we put a desk under and she has so much more space.
We got a 6 foam mattress /I didnt want to do any larger bc I wanted ample rail height so no one falls off for any wild rolling sleeping kids.
I love this bed. I am so bummed we needed to return it , and all because I just couldnt deal with the orange color (Im a neutrals and earth tones gal, and so much color ended up being just too much). I really so wanted this one in a beige or taupe and the light grey was out of stock in King. Sad
If youre into orange, or any of the colors they show, BUY IT! Its the best bed EVER! Didnt creak or squeak or make any noises, super sturdy, super comfy, made the mattress feel even more comfy. In love with this bed!
This bed is fantastic! It shipped faster than it said it would, and was pretty easy to put together! It took about an hour with two people. It looks exactly like the picture and its super sturdy! I love it!
I wanted a King Size bed for a smaller room. What I liked about this one is that the bottom is as wide as the mattress. At the top there is only a few more inches added for the trim. Worked for me. Sturdy as well.

I assembled this myself very easily as a small woman. It makes absolutely no noise and is comfortable. Nice look.
