I got this because I just wanted a bed in my spare bedroom and still keep all the other stuff I had in there. It worked for that purpose, but it is really hard to get in and out of for someone in their 50s like me. I will probably wont be having any overnight guest use it. Great for the nephews though.
This is my second loft bed purchase. I have no complaints because this time around I am not climbing up the bars. You could definitely cut tape pool noodles for padding.
My daughter enjoys this because she has place space underneath her bed. Her room is literally taken up by her bed.
Good sturdy bed. Very large and saves lots of space. However the ladder is very uncomfortable for feet. There should be a slanted ladder included with flat surface to place feet. I will add pool noodles to the ladder to make usage more comfortable
I bought this because I needed to save space in my room. Its pretty much exactly as described. Its saved me allot of space. I would suggest having someone to help with assembly though. I did it by myself, and it wasnt impossible but It would have helped if I had someone to help lol. That being said guys Im a 120 bound 510 girl with very little coordination and I was able to putt this together in about 3.5 hours. As far as steadiness its pretty good. I knew it wouldnt be as stable as a wooden frame but its stays pretty still. The only complaint I have is that I wish the ladder was more comfortable to walk up on. However I easily fixed that by getting some foam strips and attaching it to the ladder. All in all it was a good purchase and Im very satisfied.
