    Pre-drilled holes?

This is nice looking but they skipped the key step of pre-drilling holes in the hardwood. Some of the places where I’m having to drill holes are very difficult to reach and would’ve been much easier when they were assembling it. I did not expect to need the tools that I need to pull this together. Honestly I’m not sure why it costs so much when it is so few steps away from simply building the bed myself.

Good value, but not for jumping on

Good value for the money. Looks nice, but may not hold up to a larger kid jumping on it or flopping on it hard.

    Beautiful piece of furniture.

Absolutely love this daybed. Using it in living room at lake house. Very sturdy all wood construction. Took 2 of us about 1 1/2 hours to put together Highly recommend

    Perfect for our cabin.

We loved that it arrived on time and was easy to put together. It helped to have a power drill but not necessary. Quality is great. Directions easy to read. Everything was very organized. We purchased so we could add two places to sleep at out cabin. Since we dont always need beds it will make a nice reading couch. I will be getting lots of pillows to make it a cozy corner to curl up.

    Good value

Good value. It’s solid wood - not a hardwood, but with decent cuts and finish. The hardware provided is sturdy enough, the screws are ferrous but the pins / brackets are not. The slats are secured with screws unlike other beds that use flexible plastic pieces that tear if they’re removed. The instructions were simple to follow. The packaging placed the slats on the outside, thus properly cushioning the nicer parts from shipping box tears and bumps (I had one, no real damage). One negative - the pieces are labeled with convenience store style price labels, which are a nightmare to remove. I tried the edge of a credit card, with adhesive left behind. I tried a hairdryer (pictured) but even peeling with my fingernail compressed the wood a bit and the paper disintegrated. I tried using alcohol pads to wipe away the adhesive, but that started affecting the finish. Finally, I scraped off with a credit card and pecked at the adhesive with packing tape until it came off. Easily added 15 mins to the assembly, and I gave up on the labels that would be hidden by the mattress. Hope this gets back to the manufacturer - I’d rather have no labels than these time suckers. All in all, I’d recommend this for its primary purpose - a guest bed that needs to look decent but not be too expensive.

    Incorrect part

I love the look of the bed however it came with an incorrect part so I am not able to assemble. I received three of the same legs vs. two and two so the slots don’t match up to assemble. Would love to get the contact info so I can reach out to the seller to get the right part. It is a Very beautiful bed!

    Bed for our toddler

*UPDATED* The bed seems sturdy enough, but we had a few issues. The color we purchased is supposed to be black, however this bed is brown--somewhere between a deep cherry and espresso color. Also, all of the screws appear to be a brass color, when in the first image here they appear painted black. We dont like that the screws stand out so much. Customer service was great and reached our to us to see what they could do. We really appreciate that! This company puts customers first. Despite those cosmetic issues, we will keep this bed for our 18 month old (alternative to a toddler bed and he can grow into it). We think its a great piece that will last for years to come. Thank you!

Nice bed for a little girl

My husband was able to assemble this on his own without trouble. This bed is a good value for the money. Seems sturdy enough, have not had any issues. The trundle is not on a track, so be sure it’s lined up before you pull it out or push it back in.
