Beautiful Look / Has Some Flaws

I really liked this product because of the reviews as well as the look, but after having it for over 6 months I want to give my honest review! Likes: Delivery/ It was so simple to schedule and the two individuals dropping it off were accommodating when we needed to switch doors to get it into my home! Assembly / It was easy for one person to grab the legs from the underside of the couch and screw them in. Appearance / The perfect color mid/century warm leather sofa and has a nice size for our space Now onto our dislikes about the couch. Came with small defect / One side of our couch came with a bit of a warp in the back side leather. Now we could of called customer service the day after we noticed but it was small and we thought the hassle of the return was worth less then putting an accent table to just hide it. Delicate / The leather scratches a bit more than we would like with simple objects, sometimes they can be buffed out some we just call new character Fading / The seat clearly has taken on some fading and new texture and rubbed off color of jeans just after six months of owning it which is a bit of a bummer! We are really trying to protect the integrity of this couch but it it seeming like it might not last as long as we hoped! Overall a great look but might not be as durable as some.

Go to a furniture store instead

Its really pretty, but its broken. The left side arm rest is damaged and crunches. I dont want to go through the hassle of returning, but there are some serious quality issues or shipping issues. Its not very stable, either. This will be my last time buying a couch online.

Poor quality control and questionable durability.

Let me start out by saying that I was thrilled with the look and quality of the first couch I received back in May, the 74in loveseat. I eagerly awaited the day when the 86 in couch would be back in stock as it went out of stock for several months and ordered the larger couch as soon as it became available. Both couches shipped well and were easy to assemble. Unfortunately, the leather on the second couch is clearly inferior to that of the first couch. It was rougher and seemed a bit thinner even when I first received the couch in early August of this year. It is now just 2 months later and there is already a spot starting to wear in the seat of couch. We are not rough on furniture and do not have any pets. There should not be any visible wear on a couch in this short of a time period. Our other leather couch is from Ikea and still looks brand new after 5 years. I suspect this couch will need to be replaced within a year or two, which is a shame because it looks beautiful. Edit: Im subtracting another star due to s absolutely abysmal customer service for items. I attempted to contact customer service regarding the 1 year warranty this couch is supposed to come with. I was re/routed to several different departments and no one seemed to know how to obtain warranty service for the sofa. I eventually spoke with a manager who told me there wasnt anything further she could do on her end but all would be sorted out if I emailed warrantyquestions@.com; Their reply was,We looked into your recent request for a copy of the manufacturers warranty for Tufted Mid/Century Leather Sofa, but we havent been able to locate (it). You may also want to contact the manufacturer for more information is a subsidiary of so Im seemingly stuck with a defective couch and no recourse. Badly done . Edit 12/2018: Im adding a star back. After several additional attempts to contact about the defective couch, I eventually lucked across another manager who facilitated the shipping of a new replacement couch and the pickup of the old defective couch. Unfortunately, it was clear when I received the replacement couch that it had the same rougher leather as the defective couch it replaced. The main issue appears to be related to the fact that the top grain leather is untreated and unfinished, which makes it very susceptible to wear and tear. The replacement couch has now been in my living room for almost 3 months. Ive taken a number of steps to prevent any damage from occurring to it, including laying a blanket/cover on the seat the majority of the time. Ive conditioned it with several coats of leather conditioner and preservative, which has helped make the leather more supple and has given the sofa a better overall color. Thus/far, the couch is holding up ok. Im planning on coating it with a resoling finish in the near future and will update this review afterwards. I suspect that the extra work will help the leather hold up better in the long run but this is still significantly more work than I was expecting to have to put into my furniture.

Not better than online representation

Do not trust the reviews that say it looks better in person. I bought this product because it is associated with the company name. I bought it bc 400 sofas fall apart and I thought for 1200 it would last a few years. The delivery guys tried to leave it here in the box. I am 52 and disabled and the home delivery I signed up for made me think Id get an unboxed item. I could never have lifted it to attach legs. I said I would not accept delivery in the box and am glad I did. They agreed to open it. It looks and feels like cheap Naugahyde. It is a washed out color so much less rich than what I saw online. Colors of course vary across screens this is not that. This is very poor quality dressed up in a glossy photo to mislead. The attached bottom cushion is such that a fitted sheet could never be put on to accommodate a sick child in the couch, any crumbs in crevices would be difficult if not impossible to totally remove even with a good vacuum and proper attachments. I knew tencushion would be attached and this is described online, but until you see it in person you will not understand how poorly it is made with regard to cleanability. Whether you live in city or country you have pests that will find their way into this couch and you will have no way to get them out. Its uncleanable. For 1200 I did not expect a top of the line sofa. I expected something that looked as nice as what I saw online and would last us a few years. I expected to be on par with s eponymous line of electronics. It was not. I think there must be something wrong with the review process that so many people are going on about how much better it looks innoerson. While there is some degree of subjectivity inherent there, it seems highly unlikely that several actual purchasers of this item would go out of their way to say it looks better than the online pictures item. , I think you can do better. This was a rough intro for me to your new furniture line. I hope you will try to build the part of your empire to equal the quality of your electronics.

Seems like a great item for the price

I was looking for a leather sectional sofa but did not want to spend over 2k, which is pretty much impossible. Enter this leather sofa in cognac. The reviews were pretty good overall so I took a shot. I was able to schedule delivery quickly and on a day/time I wanted. The sofa itself looks great, the leather feels like quality, and feels quite firm to sit on (which I like). Well see how it holds up over time. The delivery service is terrible, though. I paid for the deliver to a room of your choice option and that most definitely did not happen. The delivery was one guy with this sofa in an enormous box and he basically just dropped it at my doorstep. And I had to talk him into that! Why they have furniture delivery being done by one person instead of two is beyond me. So all in all, good sofa, easy assembly, horrible service.

Great value for small modern couch

Arrived super fast, paid extra for the it to be delivered directly to the living room. But super easy to assemble well packaged. The leather is ok color is spot on better than i expected. Well built and i plan to apply a leather conditioner to it so it last a few years hopefully.

Damaged couch

This review has more to do with damage to the sectional (either from the loading process or during transit) than the sectional itself. I just took delivery of my sectional and it looks just as advertised on . Its a really beautiful piece of furniture. However, upon removing the packing and setting the cushions, I realized a portion of the wooden bar the cushions sit against towards the back of the sectional is broken. This causes an uneven setting of the cushion which leaves about an inch or so of uncovered space between the cushion and bottom of the sectional instead of being flush with it. Ive included a few pictures as visual reference including a picture of the unbroken portion of the wooden bar. product is worth the cost.

Aming value

Ive had my eye on this couch for months and its been out of stock. I kept checking weekly and was so excited when it was finally available again. It shipped quickly, the delivery company was efficient and friendly and brought it right inside my foyer for me. The couch is an excellent value. It is mostly assembled in the box, all you have to do is add the legs and the cushions. The back cushions zip into place so that they cant slide around or fall down. The legs come stored inside a flap on the underside of the couch and the chaise piece. The leather feels just a bit stiff at first but I feel like itll soften with use and its better than I expected for the price. Its a beautiful color and design and exactly what we were looking for.

This piece is everything it was advertised. Nice, soft but durable leather. Fits perfectly in my cigar room. Wish I had room for two!
