Following instructions for assembly exactly and it still took nearly 4 hours to assemble. Some suggestions to make it easier would be to put the foot holder brackets on then screw the feet onto them afterwards and the slats dont hold until the resting brackets are put in so when it tells you to lift open the bed again afterwards, most of the slats fall out so the resting bars and baseboards should be assembled before placing the slats. Its AWESOME once its assembled but it some assembly steps make it harder than it needs to be.
Loved that the instructions were clear, all of the parts were clearly marked. It does take some time and someone Will need assistance with assembly once you are ready to attach the mattress portion but otherwise that assembly was pleasant and not frustrating as some some assemble required purchases can be.
The appholstery is beautiful and finnish was suprisingly better than I expected. It is a sturdy frame once put together.
I was a little surprised the headboard was shorter than I expected but no worries there.

I actually love this bed. I live in an historic home (read: no closets) and needed extra storage space for bulky bedding and seasonal items; this bed has been a godsend in that regard. Its structurally sturdier than Id thought it would be, too! The pleather/vinyl upholstery is on the thin side, unfortunately, and my pets have scuffed up the sides quite a bit; for the budget price, though, Im more than pleased.
After upgrading to a real bedframe from my old home/built one which was just a bed on stilts, I wanted to maintain lots of under/bed storage space. I didnt know beds like this existed and ALMOST missed it, but I found this, saw good reviews, and was not disappointed. I didnt install the bottom board for this bed, which adds another couple of inches of storage, and I store everything from luggage, to backpacking equipment, sports equipment, and beyond under here and its still not full.
It took several hours to build, but I honestly I dont care about spending a few hours on furniture that will last me years and years to come.
All the upholstery looks great, and the mechanism to open it is really easy to operate. Seriously it works really well. Im super pleased.
Not too bad to put together, bed is VERY nice, sharp looking. Tons of storage, although you have to watch weight because bottom wood next to floor is not that heavy. Time will tell if it holds up, just like anything. Great buy, would buy again.
If u are planing of doing white and grey bedroom this not the one !! Color is defiantly more brownish !! Some people wrote it in reviews and I didnt listen now after 2 hours of assembling of each bed (I purchased 2) I am stock ! Cause its to hard now to disassemble and put it in box for return 2 days pass I still cant use to the color !! Ugly.
u need to change the description this not a grey bed !! So disappointed

The storage is aming I live the ease of lifting it. Took almost 3 hours to assemble but worth it!

We have only had for a month but happy so far. It looks very nice in the guest room and comfortable to sleep on. Storage is an added bonus.
