After the first one I ordered mysteriously disappeared in UPSs system, customer service was nice enough to expedite another one to us overnight. The table arrived packed like no other package Ive seen before. Both the base and the glass top were in their own boxes, but both boxes were strapped together under about 4 inches of bubble wrap and heavy duty shipping tape. The glass top was further insulated by a wood frame which tightly fit over the cardboard box it was sent in. I had help the UPS guy get it up our front steps into our house - the package was very HEAVY!
After about 30 minutes spent unpacking everything, the moment of truth arrived. Assembly was easy, and the wood and glass are gorgeous. My wife and I were saying, We love our table! It really looks great in our living room. This is one purchase Im very happy with. Two thumbs up!
The table is beautiful and adds so much to our room. Initially I was worried about the quality of the table because I saw it other places for a significantly higher cost. The table is exactly what you expect a Noguchi table to be. The dark walnut base is perfect. It was worth every penny and it was delivered as expected and crated wonderfully to protect the glass top.
The Noguchi table from is everything you hope it will be. It is classic and classy. I ordered the cherry finish and the look is rich and wonderful. You wont be disappointed. Its heavy so make sure you have some muscle to assemble it.
