Not that hard to assemble. But The wooden boards that hold the mattress do not fit one side of the bed boards were bent out of shape. Hard to put together when the screws just barely fit in the bent side board.
Cheap did not come with instructions, did not come with tools, was missing screws, the wood to support the mattress was warped, th wood for the post was damaged the mattress did not fit properly very disappointing
Very easy to assemble did it all by myself, was packaged very well for protection against damage. It is very sturdy and seems well made. I wanted a frame to match the pretty headboard that we already had and this came really close and looks great with it. Only thing I dont care for is how the platform for the bed is at the very top of the frame, the mattress does not sit down inside it at all. Its a full 12 in/1ft high which means if youre using a box spring your bed will be VERY tall. Were currently debating what to do because we feel like our bed isnt as comfortable without the box spring yet is WAY too high with them on the frame. We slept on it for two nights with just the mattress on it which is what my pictures show, was perfect height but its way too high with the box springs in it now.
Buy this bed! Great value!!! Similar beds I looked at from Urban Outfitters or Pottery Barn were $600 or $700 and that didnt even include shipping! Ouch!

It was packed so so well. Everything was in great shape, and well labeled. The styrofoam was wrapped in plastic so there wasnt a terrible mess!
Assembly took my boyfriend and I less than 20 minutes. Included Allen wrench is all youll need.

im so happy i got this, it came like 10 days earlier than it said which was awesome. i just finished putting everything together (im 17 btw) i did it all by myself cause it was so simple. i followed stardust dudes advice on putting the plastic packaging between each mating surface and the finished product had no squeal whatsoever. The velcro for the wooden slats is so smart and there are even little holes and wood things that go in the holes that are on the bed part that make is so sturdy that the slats dont move. overall a great product and a great purchase!

The screws and nuts are well labeled and they provide extras in a small plastic bag A hex wrench is provided and thats all you need. I unboxed the pieces, laid them out and one hour later I had a new platform bed! Been sleeping on it for a month. Very happy with this purchase.
I bought this bed frame mainly for the style. I wanted something classic looking and in wood. It arrived in a timely manner and packaged neatly with all bolts/screws provided. Assembly was quick and easy. You do need a drill. The bed exceeds all my expectations honestly esp for the price. Its classic/timeless without being too over the top. Wood color/grain is beautiful. Its also quite sturdy. I have not experienced any squeaking however I did buy a twin bed. Overall I love my new bed!!
We are very happy with this bed frame! We have had it for a month without having a squeaking issue like other people have mentioned. Our mattress does slide a little every few days. So far so good. Very handsome for the price.
