I was looking for a display that would show off all my limited edition consoles and controllers and this was exactly what I needed. I originally intended on buying a led bar and glueing it but I thought this would be a better fit. It does exactly what I wanted better than I expected.
Installation was just me, so if you are by yourself it is possible, but expect it to be a full morning/afternoon/evening working on it. Id recommend going extremely slow, its the type of installation where once you screw, or glue something incorrectly there isnt any going back. The pieces look similar so spread everything out and triple check each step. It wasnt hard at all, but I dont want to imagine the pain of how you fix an error, because the screw heads were usually incapable of unscrewing once you got it down.
I using this more as a display case, but for those using it as a TV stand with electronics plugged in under, it seemed like that would be tough based on installation. The only opening to pass wires through are at the top, on the back of the stand. You probably could make it work on the glass top shelf, but on the bottom it seems tough. Its too sharp of an angle to have cords plugged in and not dage them. If you are purchasing to have everything plugged in, just be sure it will work for you.
Interesting side note: the glass is optional in the way you prefer which I hoped it would be and I love. I dont have glass in the front of mine, but it does come with it all the glass pieces to use however you please. You can do the sides with front glass, one side, or none. Se for the middle glass shelves, those are optional.
The TV stand was really easy to put together, the only slight issue was with the plastic screws that tightened the glass shelving into place. Those stripped very easily and a few were almost impossible to screw in I currently having some trouble with the remote. It was working beautifully and the lights are really nice, but all of a sudden the remote isnt working Im going to reach out to the company to see about a replacement, but other than that it is very sturdy and doesnt feel like cheap wood that will chip easily and need to be replaced in two or three years
It took me more than one and a half hours to assemble it. When I finished the assembly I was happy with what I was seeing. The TV stand is sturdy, nice looking and it has plenty of storage space. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully. I would recommend it.
Very heavy item! Took 2 ppl to unpack. I assembled in about 30 minutes. All the hardware is included. The doors aligned correctly and stay shut. The legs are medium heft and feel pretty sturdy. Not a lot of wobbling. This isnt solid wood. Its linate. I like the look though.
Bought this to place in ging room! I will say way more pieces than I expected! Took me longer than I expected to get started but once I did it ce together rather quickly! Give yourself 2.5 hours at least.
I still a little bit impressed in how easy it was to assemble this tv stand. It took me around 20 minutes to get it done and it is a one person job.
Keep it mind that it doesnt come with any tool. Not even a Allen key, anything. I had to use my personal drill to get this done.
It feels really smooth to the touch and it is waterproof. Hardware for the cabinet doors look durable and good quality, and legs are sturdy and durable. They come in with protective pads so it doesnt leave any sort of scratches in the floor. I didnt put them on, but it comes with it.
Cabinets are very spacious and will allow you to store a good ount of things and on the center it has a cable management hole that helps to get cables kind of organized. I got as well a cable management box as well so I can keep all those cables organized.
Quality wise, the structure itself doesnt look very durable and I not sure if it can hold a lot of weight. It looks very pretty but material doesnt seem to be the best quality. Some parts look very cheap, actually. But for its price I think is a decent deal.
Great assembly instructions. Sturdy. Holds my 65 inch easily. Looks great, especially with the lighting effect. My only gripe is the remote signal is quite weak. You have to get real close to the device in order to manipulate the settings (at least itll get us off the couch momentarily ). Other than that minor issue, very pleased with the product.
Fairly decent TV stand. I like the modern look of it, and it was easy to put together. My 65 TV looks great on it. The wood its made of is thinner than I prefer, and the cabinet doors didnt align completely. You can probably find something better for the money.
