I feel like a queen lol

I love my chaise chair. The velvet is so soft, I cant stop rubbing my hands all over it I did not get assembly instructions, which ultimately is ok since easy to figure out and assemble. It just wouldve helped not waste time scratching my head wondering where the holes to assemble were. Mine came covered (shown in picture if you look carefully where my finger is you can see the holes underneath the cloth). I couldnt see them at first and thought I was going to have to return what I already fell in love with. The screws will easily poke through the cloth so if yours comes like that too dont panic. The legs also have this white tip to make it easy to move around on carpet.

    It is beautiful and comfortable

Pleasantly surprised by the chaise. It is beautiful and comfortable. Quite easy to assemble. A little flimsy, but at this price, theres nothing to complain.

    Just right for reading

I bought this so I wouldnt ruin our new 1400 mattress by reading in bed. I needed to be able to stretch my legs out OR sit cross/legged, as I needed to maintain comfort. Many other chaises were curvy, but that isnt so great if you want to sit up with crossed legs. This chaise allows me to do both. This is fairly sturdily built with plywood (the seat is a sheet of plywood, not springs or slats), which is covered by a 2 inch piece of foam. So Im thinking that the comfy feel now wont last terribly long (heres hoping Im wrong!). But I got this for a sat the sellers actual website, and looking at the way it was put together, if the cushion needs replacing, I think I can do it myself with a little bit of effort. As to color, this is a true grey/gray, no tints, no green tints, a straight up gray. If you had a gray/scale from 1/10, 1 being the lightest, this would hit at about a 7. but not excessively so. See pic I uploaded for color and sizing. The carpet is a beigey/taupe color and my skirt is a faded sage color. And as to size, there is no way someone is snuggling with a Great Dane on this unless the Great Dane is using the human as a body/pillow. If they really are both able to fit, I want to see a picture / the human must be child/sized or something. You see me here in the photo, 5ft 8in and 175lbs. My dog, a mere 35lb Beagle/Spaniel mix can fit on the chaise with me (he was being camera shy when I took this), but his head is in my lap when he does come aboard or I have to sit at an angle so he can curl into a ball. By sitting the pieces on their sides and using a wall as a brace, I was easily able to put this together by myself, without the frustration of a second pair of hand that have a brain of their own attached, lol. I find these sorts of things go better with one person putting it together.
