when i first opened the boxes for this bunk bed (it came in 2 boxes) i was overwhelmed, and cracked open some white claws. (the ease of putting it together actually blew me away, and the white claws were a bit overkill in retrospect.) i was skeptical on how sturdy it would be, because i have 3 boys; an 11 year old, 8 year old, and 3 year old. i also have a 6 year old step/daughter, and they are collectively the reasons we cannot have nice things. this bed has held up nicely, and the kids absolutely love it. with the amount of times this bed has been used in intense games of the floor is lava i am confident i have gotten my moneys worth. just buy the bed, you wont regret it.
Product arrived on time, as expected.though it did come in two separate shipments that were approximately 1.5 days apart. Instructions were easy to follow, though some of the labels in the diagrams were difficult to read. Instructions had a hardware guide to help identify exactly which items were needed from the hardware bubble/packs. This definitely requires at least 2 people to assemble / the loft section needed to be supported while being assembled.could not have done this with just one person. You will want to have a bit/driver / portable drill available to speed up the assembly process. The one supplied hex/wrench is helpful, but it is not a speedy tool. Took around 6 hours to fully assemble in the bedroom where it will be used. The assembly time and the need for a second person resulted in my assembly rating being below 5 stars. 4 Stars for the overall rating because 2 key bolts were missing from the hardware pack.the 2 bolts that were left for us to use were too short. Hoping to pick up replacements at the local box store.
Followed directions. Be patient as some pictures take time to orientate the part. The ladder was not cut correctly and I needed to trim off the area to fit. Once did this fit was good. I did it with a small trim hand saw. Some of the pilot holes were not deep enough and some were too deep. Take your time and you will have a great assembled unit.

We built this in a loft area at our family cabin. Overall, it was easy, but time consuming to build. Several of the parts were unlabeled and a couple were labeled with the incorrect part number. I was able to figure out which parts were correct based on the holes drilled in them and the parts list at the beginning of the instructions so it all worked out. The biggest problem is that the ladder rungs are too short and the holes for the wooden pegs for the ladder did not line up so the rungs couldnt be installed correctly. Being up in the mountains and having the bed mostly put together, we had to do makeshift ladder rungs for the time being, and will have to create our own to install later. For the cost, I would hope all the parts would be the correct size, so this is disappointing. I love the configuration of the beds and how low the top bunk is. Made it work perfectly to fit in our space.

The ladder steps are also too short for the ladder to reach pre/drilled holes, which means the ladder is only screwed into one side of the bed. Overall cute and sturdy for the money, but Im waiting to hear back from the seller on the ladder steps.

Great value for the price
My kids love it! It did take me 3 hours to assemble, but I was doing it alone. Seems very sturdy!
