We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the box to see how well made the headboard was and the quality and color of the fabric. It’s like the perfect grey linen material and padded. The pieces to put the bed together were zipped up behind the headboard. We were looking for a more modern platform bed for my three year old and this couldn’t be more perfect for him.
For the mattress we started with a 8in spring mattress which is in the second photo bc I wanted to be able to see more of the headboard but we quickly noticed a gap on the sides and it was just a inch above the headboard gap so the first night I noticed when you would lay down it would go under the headboard. When you put the bedding and comforter you couldn’t tell see the gaps. I then purchased a zinus 10 inch green tea memory foam mattress in the third photo and it’s perfect! It fits right up to the edges of the frame on all sides and sits slightly higher so the mattress doesn’t go below the headboard when you lay down and you can still see plenty of the headboard if you like to decorate with pillows.
Overall we’re very happy with this full size bed and it’s such a great value. Hope the photos help if you’re trying to decide on the bed

I did modify the frame to make it a day bed/ sofa by adding additional lumber to create a back rest on the long side and incorporate the headboard pieces into this design.I also took remaining headboard pieces to create legs supporting the frame in the middle and glued most pieces together as well as used the included hardware. These modifications would not be needed for using this as a twin bed platform.
Bought the fullsize bed. Happy with the product. Took about 2.5 hrs to put together. Instructions are all laid out and the pieces were marked well. The only downside was that the bed as you can see is bigger than the mattress which was odd given i bought the full size bed. So far feels sturdy and note that all the pieces are inside the zipper compartment and theres a note that indicates as such.
The color was abit off too as we picked light grey and the picture shows a different type of grey. Nevertheless love the color and its perfect!
I want to start by saying I love this bedframe. It is lightweight and tall enough to fit wooden crates from Michaels underneath so I was able to store lots of things under it. It is all wood which I was looking for because past metal bedframes I have had squeak too much. The only downside was that the slats seemed very weak when we put the bed together (assembly was very easy). Although my son was careful, he cracked one of the slats. I bought a set of standard twin bed slats from Home Depot to supplement the ones that came with the bed and it's very sturdy now. The customer service from the company is very responsive and helpful. They were willing to send me a replacement bed, but I didn't want a whole replacement. They actually reimbursed me for the replacement slats which was extremely nice. Hopefully they will take my suggestion and include either more, or sturdier slats for the bed. In short, do not hesitate to buy this bed, but you may want to buy supplemental standard bed slats from Home Depot to make the base sturdier.
Love this bed, but it doesn’t come with great instructions. To save someone else the headache: the bolts with the flat ends are the ones that go in the locking mechanisms (holding the legs of the bed to the side rails).
Other than that - LOVE this bed. The frame is very solid. All of the parts fit perfectly together. I checked it with a level when I finished putting it together, and it is spot on. The wood is well sanded and finished and has such a natural beauty. It is a well made, high quality product. Even without a proper instruction guide, 5 stars.
I'm so glad I got this bed for my 4 year old. It was easy to build, took maybe 20 minutes. Doesn't squeak or feel unstable at all. It is able to hold both me and her, so almost 200 pounds. It did smell of fresh paint when we opened it up, so I guess they make them to order or something. We've had it a few months now and it's been going strong. No marks or anything when we got it.
Bought this bed as a “big boy” bed for my 3-now 4 year old, and he absolutely loves it. It’s sturdy, I put a 12” memory foam mattress on it and absolutely no complaints so far with how it’s golding up. I put it together myself, and it wasn’t difficult to do by any means, but it did take a little longer, the instructions weren’t the best, and I had to be more creative finding things to prop up parts on while I screwed the screws in so it was level.
The only reason for the rating, is that it is just wood, and it isn’t coated or varnished, just sanded down, and I gave myself a splinter trying to put it together. I’m planning to seal it clear and maybe paint it in the next couple of months, but I did go over it myself to check and make sure that he wasn’t going to get a splinter before then.

Flat-end bolts go in the locking holes!
