    Cute Table

I ordered black. It was easy to put together. Very stylish. Love it!

Poor build quality, damaged all over, missing parts.....

Damage all over product. Missing 2 handles for the drawers. Would not recommend this product. Edit: 2 weeks later they made it right and sent me an un-damaged table top. Reassembled and looks how it should have the first go around. 3.5 stars

Solidly made, looks awesome, assembly tips...

I LOVE this end table! I also love that it is solid pine and is lightweight enough for me to easily carry across the room alone. The finish wasn't perfect but the rustic look is awesome. It looks even better in person than the pictures. It seems sturdy, and the drawer glides have a soft stop. The bottom of the drawer is the one thing not very strong. It is solid wood like everything else which is nice but very light like balsa wood. It should be fine as long as a kid doesn't step in it. I also really appreciated that it was mostly assembled - much better than the warehouse kits where you have to build it from scratch. One downside is the sickly sweet smell of the finish - it takes weeks (not days, weeks) before it goes away. Assembly took 20 minutes including unboxing - it would have been 10 like the instructions say but I tend to be careful. All it took was screwing on the legs and shelf. Total of 12 screws. Some tips: Clean out the screw holes before starting, and try starting each screw by hand. Some of my holes had wood splinter bits in them making them hard to turn. Also leave the legs a little loose until the shelf is started. You build it upside down, and need to fully extend the drawer to get to the leg screw holes. (You don't need to remove the drawer like the instructions imply.) Tighten the screws just enough to engage the locknuts - overtightening can crack the wood. I didn't need any tools other than the included allen wrench - the instructions say you'll need a philips screwdriver but you don't. There isn't a lot of room to use the allen wrench but I was able to get them in most of the way by hand. The glides nailed into the bottom of the legs weren't all the way in so I tapped them flush before starting. I was able to assemble it alone but it would help to have someone to hold the shelf. The packaging was excellent with reinforced corners and enough padding to keep everything in perfect condition even with rough shipping. It looks gorgeous and is made well to last for many years. Made in Vietnam.

    Beautiful Table

The Martin Svensson End Table ships in a heavy box with a lot of foam padding to protect the wood from denting and scratching. It does't require a lot of assembly. The drawer is already assembled and attached to the top. All that is necessary for assembly is attaching the legs to the table top and the stabilizing shelf at the bottom. It only requires twelve screws and it comes with the necessary tool to tighten the screws. I was able to put the table together in about twenty minutes by myself. The directions were clear and easy to understand. The table is very nice. It is a bit taller than other end tables which makes it very convenient next to the couch. It has a nice wide top that accommodates a lamp and other decor. The top is textured but smooth enough to use. The drawer glides smoothly on the metal tracks and is perfect for storing remote controls. It has a brushed metal drawer pull that looks up-to-date. The piece fits well with the look we are trying to create in our home. It is sturdy and well built. It was missing one of the rubber pieces for the legs. I just took the other three off and replaced it with some felt protectors. The table is beautiful and looks very nice in my front room.

Easily assembled, reasonable quality, and looks great

Though not an heirloom piece of furniture, this is solidly built and the drawer slides work well. I have no issues trusting it with my weight ~200lbs. It looks great, even better than the pics, and only takes about 20 minutes to put together, (much faster if you have a ratchet with an allen/hex key socket so you don't have to keep re-aligning the included wrench). The top feels and sounds (when tapped) almost like balsa wood, and I wouldn't expect it to be hardwood or to stand up to significant abuse.

Nice Piece, Broken out of the box on 1st try.

I've never purchased furniture online before due to the big question, will it arrive undamaged? After looking for months for a suitable coffee table in stores that we liked, I decided to take a chance on this one from . Unfortunately, my fear was realized, broken structural wood parts on arrival. Other than the damage, The coffee table was as described, close to the pictures. Top grey is more of a painted look than stained, but we dont have a problem with that. For its price, its reasonably sturdy and well built. I do think there is a vulnerable part of its packaging. I'll be sure to update this review upon delivery of its replacement.

    Love this piece!

There are other pieces that match and that is a bonus as we bought two other pieces. This was the easiest to assemble. Looks wonderful. Sturdy and higher quality than expected for the price.

    Nice Console Table

The table arrived packaged well and in great condition, I put it together in aprox. 20 min. I did not use both shelves, just the lower shelf and it looks great. The color is a med dark wood and it is a nice heavy, quality console table.
