The umbrella was easy to set up and does exactly what we want on our patio. The construction seems strong and hopefully it will last for quite some time.
The improvement I would suggest is that the shipping takes place quicker. I ordered this on April 30th and a week and a half later my credit card was billed. The shipping label was created on May 9th but FedEx did not pick it up until May 25th. I received the package on May 27th. I am not sure what they hold up was at the vendor / they blamed it on FedEx but clearly in my point of view it was totally on the vendor. The vendor never gave me a straight answer when I question why it was taking so long.
I read the reviews on the smaller version and opted for this one because of the wind vents. However, this one spins in a breeze and the umbrella part unscrews itself from the bottom pole. I thought it was spinning in the base and that I needed to tighten it down. However, that is not the case. It is actually separating at the connection. This is dangerous. Therefore, I cannot leave it up and its a pain to take up and down due to the size. Also, filling the sand bags is a huge pain. It would have been a lot easier if the sand bags had larger opening and I could have just placed the bags I purchased inside of the covers instead of having to pour them in.
Ive only had this for a few weeks. So far its good. Ill see how it handles the Arizona summer. But it great size and high enough anyone can walk under it without any problems. Hats and all.
Umbrella Crank easily opens and closes. Main umbrella pole made of sturdy aluminum. Base 28x28x6 easily assembles, yet needed go to Home Depot to buy sand bags to pour into base pillows. (No winds will toppel umbrella).
Just love this product! Easy to put together and provides much needed shade, great look and Im purchasing more! thank you so much. Would be nice to have a bracket for surface mounting.
I was slightly sad that it did not fit inside my table (barely off but my table is metal). It also has a larger base than appears in photos, so it probably would not have fit under my table anyways. I was surprised that the base is covered with a black cloth and not more of a solid unit. Overall its very nice and sturdy. Looking forward to how it stands up over time.

We were so pleased with the size and durability of this umbrella. It covers our patio perfectly! And my husband assembled it in minutes.
