Assembly is more time consuming than difficult. The instructions were clear and all necessary hardware was included. It looks nice once assembled, lots of room for storage beneath, and is a vast improvement over the frame/boxspring model.
Bed frame came early, which was great. What wasnt great was that I didnt receive an alert that it had been delivered and it rained that day. I dont know who delivered it, but they dropped it off at the end of the yard next to the street, where it laid out in the rain. By the time I found it and tried to drag it to the house, the cardboard crumbled in my hands. I had to open it in the yard, in the rain, and run the pieces into the house to dry them off. Even though the rain had penetrated the inner cardboard and wrapping, nothing seemed to be damaged, for which I am thankful. However, I am not at all happy with the delivery person.
The instructions and stickers on the pieces made this so easy to assemble. They included an actual ratchet that made screws easier, and even extra hardware for all pieces. You can tell that the people who wrote the instructions had actually put this bed together themselves. Wow! So inexpensive, well designed and great value for money. Way less expense and complicated and better looking than IKEA. And we have a West Elm bed that cost 10x more that is not as sturdy and well designed as this one. This is a great product and company.
Purchased on wayfair and what I notice is the complaints of the multiple pieces of wood glued together to make the main beams that go across lengthwise is not present on the full. Maybe the other sizes are not like that either and they only glue a select number of pieces as to not waist any shorter bits of wood?
What I like about the bed is the headboard is part of the legs so it is more structural. A lot of other beds the headboard attaches to the frame and is more flimsy.
Lastly, the weight capacity is the same with full as the queen/king but the slats are closer together. That is better for your mattress so if using a bigger size I would suggest cardboard over the slats for support.
nice design, excellent finishing and sealing, easy assembly, good engineering should be sturdy, instructions were good.
packaging was kinda okey, so so. but worked out. nothing damaged.

I like the bed a lot. I had to get used to a lower bed, but it is very good wood. I wish now that I had ordered the bed with the headboard. Took some patience at first when I started putting it together. Once I got the four sides together, it went pretty quickly. I waited to tighten the screws until I had most of them assembled. It took me a few trys to get the feet on right.

The queen size solid wooden frame was easy to assemble, is super study and looks great. My wife asked me to but a second one for the guest room.
