Unfortunately, mine has big flaw on left front side-piece of headboard which is visible since it is just above top of mattress. Looks as though someone pounded the head of a bolt into it a couple of times, or some similar scenario, leaving two ugly indentations. Will try to post picture. I am keeping bed as I have guest arriving and dont have time to return.
Well padded inside the box. I say this because the box had punctures in it and I was concerned about scratches. When I opened the box there was LOADS of Styrofoam lining shielding the bed from the world. The bed was super easy to assemble. Allen wrench kinda small but oh well it came with! My only complaint is that when the box was delivered they put it in my lawn! And it is HEAVY AF!!! I had to drag this beastly box onto my front patio, open it up, and take it into my house piece by piece. Great bed tho. Super supportive. My Beauty Rest fit nicely on it. Looks a lot likeee the ad pic.
Very attractive simple lines- exactly as pictured. No off-gassing from wood- seems likeee real wood- so we could set it up immediately. Directions good, set up is quick (with 2 people). Futon fit perfectly and its very comfortable.
Awesome quality the assembly isnt that bad. In fact, I ordered 2 of them, once the first was assembled (15 minutes), the 2nd one went up in a breeze. My twins loveee them, me too!
Assembly: Much easier than expected! I did this completely on my own, in about an hour. The bed is a bit heavy (it is STURDY) so it requires a bit of strength to assemble, but the process was quick and the instructions are very clear. No confusion!

This bed is VERY solid and sturdy, worlds above many competitors, at a better price point. The matte staining is very pretty and complimentary to nearly any setup. Im very pleased with this purchase.
I ordered this bed frame for my room and I loveee it!!!! This bed frame is so neat and the color black is perfect. The line details that the headboard has gives it such a cute touch. I upgrade my bed from a size Full to a size Queen because I needed more space. The wood material is great, I am very happy with this purchase. The shipping was very fast, I ordered this bedframe and another one in color white, it is called Deluxe Platform Bed w/ Slatted Headboard White and they both arrived the same day. I made my order on Sunday and received it on Wednesday!
The package came in great condition and no missing parts.
My wife and I were ditching our old queen bed for a king and needed a new headboard to match our black bedside tables from Crate Barrel. My wife was reluctant to order this one (which was about 1/4 the price of similar ones we found at our local furniture stores) based on a couple of the reviews here saying it was flimsy. I convinced her we should give it a shot and she is thrilled. First of all its solid as a rock... theres nothing remotely flimsy or compromising in the look, design or quality of the headboard or frame. It took us about 30 minutes to put together.
