    Casper Mattress (memory foam) Approved

This is a great platform frame for my Casper memory foam mattress. The wood slats are the perfect size and distance apart. Very easy set/up AND very sturdy. I wasnt sure what to expect and I am impressed.

a box spring worth of cubic footage found!!!

Easy to assemble main pieces fold out and bolt to each other, wood slats just lay in place. Nine points of contact to the ground and all steel construction. when I assemble something, its usually a dead giveaway whether the product is quality or not, or whether its sturdy or not. This frame is sturdy. I landed on this particular frame after Googling quietest bed frame just in case thats important to you. update/ the frame is not all that quiet. Apparently wood on metal isnt a great combo. Dont let this deter you though. Order yourself a smal block of paraffin wax, rub it on all metal where the wood will make contact and you will have a noise free bed plus the benefits of this great frame. the additional space this frame supplies just by replacing already used space is aming. We havent got as far as utilizing it yet, but with the right bins, this is a game changer if youre pressed for storage space

Very sturdy but center bar not level

The frame is actually lightweight and easy to move around. Slats sit 3.5 apart. Its a very sturdy frame. Easy to fold. I had this frame and new mattress for near 8 mos. I would wake up with an extremely sore back. The center vertical bar was an issue. My mattress was not level at the center and I could feel the bar under me if sleeping toward center. As a result, I switched this out for a metal frame, but exact same issue with middle bar, backache persists. The frame was far less durable. In summary the fault lies within the design of center frame. Pros: Sturdy, durable, smooth metal, great weight capacity Con: Center/middle bar might not level out. If not for this issue, I would purchase another

    Works as expected

The mattress stays in one place (does not slip on the wood slats). No need to buy a BOX for under the mattress.

    Simply Perfect / almost!

My mom moved into Assisted Living and since her room was on the small side, she wanted a bed. So, I purchased this bed frame so that she would not need a box springs and could just put the mattress on it. It is an extremely sturdy frame and the frame slats on it are made of wood. They not only keep the bed from falling through, but they prevent the bed from squeaking when turning over, etc. It is VERY well made. The only problem for her was that the bed was so high and she was afraid that she would fall out of the bed. But, my handy/dandy handyman husband was able to cut the legs down by 6 inches and that was simply perfect for my mom!

    Easy to set up

I bought two of these platform beds for the grandkids and plus for other guests. The instructions were fine and you can figure it out also pretty quickly. I was only one person putting these together. It will take longer, but you still can put them together in a few hours. All the tools were provided. But if you have better ones, it probably will go faster.
