Took my husband about an hour to put together but had no issues and its incredibly sturdy . Just cover the bars underneath with foam or something because you will break a toe if you dont ! We used foam noodles and taped them around the metal poles . Then covered the bottom with a bed skirt .
Parts and tools were included and everything went together smoothly. Reference to parts in assembly instructions could have been clearer as the descriptions on the parts package didnt match the instructions but it was pretty easy to sort it out. Assembled product was sturdy and perfect for our memory foam mattress. The only improvement would be adding casters on the feet for better mobility, but it was easy enough to get it in place by myself, even with our headboard attached.
This goes together quickly but that is because the slats are not attached. So any movement on the mattress causes the slats to move and make slapping noises. In the past I had a queen frame like this but the pieces of wood were screwed into the metal frame resulting in a solid frame with no movement or noise. I would send it back if I could.
Honestly, its plenty sturdy and its light and everything, but its super creaky and has gotten wobbly on me. I could probably tighten some stuff up but I dont know for sure if thats the problem.
I purchased this for my teenage brothers room. Hes 6 tall and weighs a little over 200 lbs. Unfortunately a full or queen size bed would have been too big for his bedroom so a was the best bed size for him. I was really surprised how difficult it is to find a frame. I bought a frame similar to this for him a several years ago and he broke it in less than a week. The steel frame bent and the frame collapsed. He has been sleeping in his bed, with this new frame, for several weeks now and we have no complaints. He says the bed is very comfortable, it doesnt squeak or make any noises actually, and best of all theres plenty of space underneath for storage. And who couldnt use more storage space?
His only complaint is when he sits on the side of the bed the support slats pop up a little on the other side. The slats havent fallen out or anything so its not a big problem, just a little weird. I told him we could zip tie the slats in place if he wanted to, but that would mean moving the mattress and making his bed so hes not interested.

Slats move and make noise. Very sturdy.

Sturdier than I thought
Assembly was easy, just a few bolts, and put in all the wooden slats. Very sturdy and just right for spare bed. Can easily be taken apart for moving.
Great Storage space
This is a sturdy frame and would recommend it. Easy to assemble.
So far so good
