When looking for velvet furniture it can be hard to know exactly what youre going to get however this is an aming piece that upon first sitting on you may think its a little bit too stiff but as the forms to you it becomes an extremely relaxing experience. The only group that I have with this piece is the fact that when I laid down into a futon position there is no support on the back piece. So if you put all of your weight on that side it will tip over. If youre handy this can be solved by creating a small upside down u shaped wooden bracket. That is able to support that weight. And with the angle of the back you can easily store this piece behind the couch.
Once we were able to open the box from all the glue used to seal it, assembly took less than 20 minutes with 2 people. Super easy to follow directions and looks really classy. Works for when guests are staying a night or two and the couch is pretty comfortable. Higher quality futon for less of the price. 10/10 would recommend
So happy with this purchase! It is pretty, comfortable, and was easy to assemble. I have slept on it several times, and I am able to get a good nights sleep on it. I bought a 2nd one, I love it so much.

One of the zippers for the hideaway legs was defective. Not a big deal because its behind the couch and we can still get the leg out but annoying not be able to use the feature.
I love this color. Its the perfect size. It looks aming. Its not very comfy though and Im not sure how long itll last. Easy to build is usually easy to break. Will see
I was shocked this couch fit in a box that fit easily though a doorway. All of the hardware and armrests were tucked inside of the main cushions. Its not heavy but well constructed and is reasonably sturdy.
The size and materials are true to the description. It took me about 30/45 mins to put together.
The back is adjustable from upright to a decent angle to flat and it has supports that come out the back when used as a futon.
This is definitely a firm cushion and not very comfortable for sitting. I havent attempted to sleep on it. I definitely recommend adding either a topper of some sort and some throw pillows for back support when using it as a couch. This is going into a room Ive accommodated for a multi/use so Im not too concerned with that. If youre looking for a daily sleeper and comfort this might not be for you. If this is to have an extra sleeping space for an occasional guest then this might be the futon youre looking for.
Overall Im delighted with my purchase.
