Not sure if this is memory foam or not, it doesnt really have much give and (to me) isnt very comfortable. Assemble in about 30 minutes. Its worth the 400 I paid though.
I am a 50 year old woman who lives alone, even with my arthritis I was able to assemble this by myself! It is sturdy and gorgeous. I have a tiny one bedroom apartment and this is a comfortable guest bed for family and friends. I love it. I ordered the sheets from this brand as well, made for the couch. They are great too.
Love the style of the couch and was fairly easy to put together. The only reason Im giving it 4 stars is because it is pretty firm. Perfect couch for my office!
The most high quality futon Ive seen or purchased. It could pass as a fancy couch lol very comfortable and sturdy. Putting it together can be annoying because its so cumbersome, but thats just because its huge and spacious for when you actually sleep on it. Would recommend
Pros:
/easy to assemble. I was able to drag it into my 200sq ft studio from the front porch and assemble it by myself.
/high quality velvet. Craftsmanship is neat, no loose threads. Super soft!
/easy futon assemble. Unzip the back to expose legs that fold out when changing it into a bed.
/storage under futon. There are zippers under the two large cushions that expose a bit of storage!
Cons:
/small metal shard prevented me from screwing in a part, I had to scrape it out for 10 minutes using plyers. Then, I had to use the plyers to screw it in.
/cracked wood on one of the legs
/not super comfortable. I was thinking more temperpedic memory foam. Its more like a rock with a thin sheet of memory foam over it.

/its large! Can seat 4, but 3 comfortably.

Definitely not dark gray like in the picture. The color being off seems to be common amongst other reviewers. Much more firm than I thought it would be, its still comfy but I doubt theres memory foam. If it werent such a hassle to disassemble and return, I would probably do so.
This chair is great but I do have two complaints 1. The photo advertising this chair shows a very dark navy blue and it does not match the photo color wise at all. 2. After assembling the chair there is a piece of fabric on the back that youre supposed to pull down and attach to the chair via velcro. The fabric is not long enough to reach the velcro so its just loose and hangs there. These are my only complaints, other than that its a very nice chair. It was super easy to assemble and is sturdy.
