Really easy to set up. Instructions is step by step. I did it myself and only needed my BF lol to help when I connected the headboard to the bottom rails. I bought this for my granddaughters room. I thought the box spring I had would fit. But I have get a 8 or 10 inch box Frame. Great look and I was happy product shipped to Hawaii
Havent tested the sturdiness yet. But otherwise easy to assemble if you know how to read the manual. No tools required. Everythings comes in the package.
It definitely needs slates/box spring to put your mattress on.

Need a mattress board
This bed is easy to assemble. Use 2 people to make sure everything is lined up properly. Its nothing breathtaking but its solid for the price you pay.
